It took me a while to write this review because I'm still in disbelief at how I was treated. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was being viewed as less than human--like I was plague, scum, or dirt. They made no effort to hide their disdain. As soon as they saw my Black skin and long hair, it became painfully clear they didn't want me there. It was obvious in the way they treated me. When I asked questions, they gave vague responses and shrugged dismissively, showing no concern. The office manager, whose name starts with M, was no better. I got my remaining two wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Matouk, and I can only say I'm super impressed by the speed and quality of the work. I was operated under local anesthesia. After the anesthesia kicked in, he started working and when I thought he paused just before getting the other tooth out, he was actually already done with both of them! I didn't feel a thing and it was so much faster and easier than I had feared. The next day there was no pain nor swelling and two days later I'm already able to eat almost normally. I waited six weeks for an appointment which is totally fine if someone had seemed like they wanted to help me with how much pain I told them I was in. I was recommended this place but with my experience I would not recommend them to anyone. The place is hidden and hard to find to begin with. There's no signs to help you out whatsoever and when you try to call when you know you're close, no one answers the phone. So being that I was late because I couldn't find it and none of the four ladies that were up front would answer, they told me I had to completely reschedule all for a consultation with records of my X-rays already on file. So glad my dentist referred me! Very professional team! I had all four wisdom removed. Went it around 8:35am by 9 I was put to sleep and by 10:20 I was walking out. I did not swell , was not in any pain and I even received a courtesy call later on in the day to check up on me and to see how I was doing (which was so thoughtful). My mom had to stay with me the entire time I let them know she works from home and needed to make some calls for work they allowed her to stay in a empty room and made her feel comfortable. That's awesome customer service. Everyone here is nice and sweet and they get the job done in a timely manner! I would recommend anyone here and I have already. Surgery included extracting the teeth that were left but shaky, and implants, temporary set of teeth put in the next day. After 9 weeks, very satisfied, permanent teeth to come soon. Unbelievable conscientious surgeon! Dr. Matouk created something out of nothing for me. I lost a tremendous amount of bone in my front jaw from an ankylosed tooth and Dr. Matouk was able to build new bone successfully after 2 surgeries for me to have permanent teeth. I'm not disputing the service...that was good, its the billing people that are a mess. I paid the fee for services up front that day, all of it or so I thought. I then waited in the waiting room for about an hour, that's fine too, then was told they did not calculate the billing correctly and it would be about 80 dollars more before I can go in. I said really, they said yes, I said are we are good now, they said no you are good. I then paid it in cash right there in the office. Then had my procedure and left only to get yet another bill sent to my home for yet another 80.00 for the same thing. I called and said I paid this in the office when you said you did not calculate it in correctly. they said I still owe it. I am not paying for services over and over again because they can not do their billing correctly. At this point I felt like I was being screwed over and not in a good way. So I explained.... they denied. Whatever they did with the cash I hope they had a nice dinner. Oh yea and here is the kicker they reported it on my credit report months later. Why is it the big businesses can screw you like this without even kissing you first. For shame on them! Ugh!!! read more

I recently was referred to Dr. Matouk for a molar extraction. I was not able to have to tooth extracted by oral surgeon due to my inability to open my jaw wide enough due to my bad TMJ. I was very worried and stressed about going under sedation and having my jaw opened and the work done. Dr. Matouk was very reassuring and calming. The procedure went very well. I could hardly believe when I woke up my jaw was fine (actually better then it was) and the tooth extracted. Everything went incredibly smoothly and my jaw is great.
