But because I was in pain I ended up going back so he could do a route canal. Already the first time the doctor brought up financial issues and wanted to force me into making a plan of all the things I needed to have in my mouth. I admit that I have long-standing dental problems that stem from lacking the enormous amount of money needed to redo all my teeth. The second time I went was today. A piece of tooth broke in between two canines so I went for him to fill up the cavity. He again brought up the financial but this time the POS told me in these precise literal words "I am disgusted by the situation in your mouth, you're gonna end up losing all your teeth". To which I responded that I came to address a problem and if he wanted I could have gone to another dentist and he said "yes, I think you should do that". This man doesn't even have the minimum requirement of empathy toward his patients so he shouldn't even be allowed to interact with. Well unless his patients are the wealthy Surfside residents he kisses ass to. The only thing he's concerned about is money and how to extract the maximum amount of money from your wallet

She was really anticipating the visit with excitement and she was not at all disappointed. The receptionists were very friendly and the waiting room is very clean and welcoming. Our wait time was between 5-10 minutes and that was probably because my daughter had to use the bathroom. The bathroom was also extremely clean and bright. The dental assistant was so kind and professional and explained everything to us (the parents) and my daughter. She asked my daughter for permission before doing anything which I think made her feel important and included. The dental assistant managed to perform a professional cleaning and take X-rays very quickly. They asked my daughter to wear fun sunglasses so the bright light wouldn't hurt her eyes. They have a tv playing cartoons on the ceiling above the dental chair to distract her (although she did not need it since she did so well) My daughter was very comfortable and so were we. Dr. Patel was also very kind and professional and addressed all of our concerns. Everyone really took their time to provide us with care. We are looking forward to the next visit and I have already recommended this location to my other mommy friends! Way to go Sunkidz Pediatric Dentistry! You will be seeing us for years to come. Two months ago, I brought my daughter to see Dr. Patel, and we were informed that she would need dental treatment under general anesthesia to address her cavities and help prevent further tooth decay and infections. Following that recommendation, we scheduled her procedure two months in advance and made arrangements based on the scheduled date. Less than two weeks before the procedure, I was informed that it had been canceled because the office had apparently failed to properly coordinate with the medical facility where the procedure was supposed to take place. This was not due to any issue on our end, yet my daughter's treatment was delayed as a result. As a parent, it is incredibly frustrating to wait months for necessary dental treatment only to have it canceled at the last minute because of an administrative or scheduling failure. Children requiring treatment under general anesthesia often face limited appointment availability, making these delays even more significant. I expected better communication, planning, and coordination from a pediatric dental practice entrusted with children's care. Unfortunately, this experience left me with little confidence in the office's ability to manage patients' treatment plans effectively. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this practice to other families seeking timely and reliable pediatric dental care. I have also filed, or intend to file, complaints with the appropriate regulatory and consumer protection organizations so that this matter can be reviewed.
