A quick phone call confirmed the screen was in stock, and produced an estimate for the price of the job and how long it would take. Drop off was a breeze. The shop was clean and professional looking. As was the fellow behind the desk. The repair took just a little longer than promised, about three hours versus two, but that was no biggie. $140 for the whole thing was worth it for my kiddo to have a phone that looked as good as new... without the hassle of setting up a new phone.

We replaced it only to find that the power cords had been changed out from the big box store working in it... which then burned up the new fan and aio cooler. It was a MESS. I have never had this many issues with any unit I had built in the past or with the big box retailer who was selling the components. After some consulting, returns/exchanges, Seth and I ordered a different brand AIO. He installed it, clean installed windows, did some cable management, and got my computer back up and running. He did much more labor due to the issues that arose throughout the process, but never raised his price above his maximum estimate. It was an incredible experience. I decided to drive down to Washington Street, rather than call on the telephone. I talked with Jack on the phone, and he came right over to look at my phone. After examining the patient, he decided to download the iOS update again, and reboot my phone. After that I was able to access my iCloud, and restore the phone back to normal. I also told them that I was looking for a cable to connect my laptop to the monitors in library, and they recommended "vga female to usb male" cable. So ok, first, it's 2021, let's do hdmi no vga. Second, I needed male-male cable, not female male, bc I'm not solving any compatibility issue. When I told them their recommendation does not work, they look really confused.. I ended up searching through all their cables while one of them stood a feed behind. It was just awkward. You can get stuff online from far better selections with far better price. There's is just nothing great about this place except for the location. I would not go there unless I am in a rush, and I won't recommend.
