Dr yozsa is terrible. I saw her a couple years ago and I'm just getting around to writing a review because I'm looking for a podiatrist again and saw her listing and feel obliged to let others know to steer clear. The business she works at is called Talus in motion.
I have flat feet with severe over pronation and some arthritis. I've had issues from very early in life.
Anyway, I tried her out after a bad experience with a previous podiatrist, dr jacoby at extremity health center. They diagnosed my arthritis. Since the experience with him was so bad I took the info with me and tried this doctor. No bueno.
She told me to try some orthotics and I said it felt better than with nothing at all and she cut them and gave them to me. I thought that was nice. She suggested a surgery, without an X-ray or anything, and have me info. I went home and started doing research. It was a relatively newer surgery and from what I was reading had only a few doctors that had decent experience performing and she wasn't on the list. It's actually more for young kids and involves implanting a stint to keep the foot from pronating.
After doing my research I had questions but was strongly considering it because I was desperate to be rid of all my pain and never being able to wear cute shoes or walk or stand for any length of time.
I go back and the first thing I'm hit with is I owe somewhere in the range of almost $100 bucks for the orthodoxy's she haphazardly cut and glued in front of me. All I thought was I was dumb for thinking it would have been free but angry that I wasn't told the price and that if I knew I was going to have to pay for them I would have not taken them because I had already bought a pair of orthotics that we're just as good at roadrunner.
Anyway, I paid and shook off my anger and blamed myself.
I started asking her questions on the surgery, like how many times she performed it. She wouldn't answer that and kept deflecting. She told me it's so easy I could watch a video online and do it myself. RED FLAG. Next thing I know she takes me to her scheduler and they try scheduling me for the surgery. I declined and left. read more
