So I decided to I search this app looking for a shop that would listen to me and customize an approach for my thinning on the top hair. That's when I found The Hard Part. I checked out their website and saw this was a female owned and operated place dedicated to guys. One of the owners is Larah. I went to see her seeking her help. What to do with this head?? She devised a plan and as soon as she started I knew, I just knew this young lady knew her stuff. Upon completion I was thrilled. I went home to my biggest critic (my wife) and she agreed this was a great haircut. Go see these ladies at The Hard Part. Maybe I'll see you there for my next cut.

For the record I do use European waxing center for eyebrow shaping and I've been a client for close to five or six years. Prior to moving here I was having my brows done in South Florida and I was happy there as well so I am finding that the eyebrow service has been pretty consistent from state to state.

I was used to paying $30 + plus tip but I didn't care; I take a lot of pride in my thick brows! In my search, I saw EWC. I visited EWC in my hometown as recommended by my best friend, but just wasn't impressed. However, Casey's name kept popping up and I thought I would give her a try. I am so glad I did because she IS amazing! I've now trusted her with my brows 4-5 times and each time walked out extremely happy. I was so happy after my first appointment but didn't want to rush to write a review. There are so many times I've had a good service but go back and it's just not the same. Casey knows what she is doing, but most importantly, her work is consistent. I am so relieved to have found Casey! I will most likely be moving out of the Ballantyne area in the next few months, but I will continue to come back to her for my brows!

Arrived for our appointment, 2 techs, 2 were already doing clients. We were seated at the chairs told to relax. My toe was nicked and I was told it was like that before I got there which was bs. My granddaughter saw me grimace when it happened. On top of all this our nails looked terrible. The "manager" must have known we were upset, we each received a $5 gift card. $266 later and we left dissatisfied.

I will say- the lady who did my brows was overall very kind but .... I asked for eyebrow threading and a wax around my neck area. My eyebrows were FINE, nothing to write home about and beggars can't be choosers. She burned me pretty bad with the wax though which sucked but I'm a millennial and besides the initial "ouch" I didn't want to bother her with my feelings. Anyway the real cherry on top was when she started asking me about work etc etc well as she's close to my ear threading my brows she starts to tell me how she's in real Estate and something else and if I'm ever looking to invest.... Ma'am I am just trying to get a little self care NOT be sold anything. Probably will not be coming here again unless I am truly desperate.
