I made an appointment after meeting her and feeling more confident about her service. During my appointment, she went over what she thought would be best for hair without damaging and with the color/style I wanted. She took her time and covered my grey roots, thin highlights , even on the bottom of my hair, toning, glazing, selling and even Balmin hair perfume! Love love my hair and its so silky and shiney! The red, dry over processed color was gone and have beautiful multidimensional thin highlights. I asked if they had any availability, and they were so kind and able to fit me in right away. Zulma did an incredible job with my haircut, and the whole experience from the wash to the cut and blow-dry was quick without feeling rushed. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in. This hidden gem has definitely become my new favorite place for both hair and nails. Her feedback was great and I appreciated that she had my best interest and was very knowledgeable. I have naturally dark brown hair and it lifted easily thankfully. My hair remains super healthy and soft after the coloring process. She was attentive and friendly and we had a great conversation while there. However, I waited about two months before writing this review because I wanted to give the perm time to settle, but unfortunately the result is not what I expected. I live out of state and only came during a weekend trip, so there was no way to remedy. I came in wanting a soft curl perm for some texture. She mentioned thinning hair, which is true, but could do it. After discussing we proceeded forward. Unfortunately the front was over-processed and the hair is extremely frizzy, stiff, and mimic an "electrocuted" texture. This was my first perm so unfortunately I'm also wasn't familiar enough to advocate for myself but looking back the perming solution was on longer than any other area of my hair and we used a smaller rod than the rest of the hair which I believe caused that area to be over processed.

Let me first state that I have had 2 experiences with Kiley; the first was incredibly positive and I was very happy with my hair when I left the salon. Prior to my appointment the first time, I did have a consultation and met with her beforehand where we discussed everything that needed to be done to my hair and I was given a firm price, however, on the actual day of my appointment, the cost for my hair was an additional $100 than the amount I was told during the consultation without any explanation. I didn't care about it too much at the time because I was truly in love with my hair, and I had thoroughly enjoyed my time talking to her - even though the higher cost seemed very shady to me. Regardless, I left with a great hair color and cut that I was very happy with. I returned to Kiley about a year later as my hair really needed touched up. I hadn't had it cut or colored since she had last done my hair and I was excited for her to work her magic again. But this experience was a nightmare. I asked her for the same thing that she had done with my hair last time, because she had done such an amazing job. However, this time she barely spoke unless spoken to (unlike the first time) and it made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and like I was a bother when I was making attempts to break the awkward silence. Eventually, she told me that she was having an argument with someone close to her so I understood her silence and sympathized with her. About halfway through the appointment, she was continuously checking her phone while I was laying in the sink and then asked me if I could leave and come back within the next few days because she had another client coming in and couldn't finish my hair. I was supposed to have the day with her and was told she didn't book other clients previously. I was starting a new job 3 days after this appointment and I just wasn't able to come back and I repeatedly told her that it wasn't possible for me to come back again in a few days. Ultimately, I realized that despite my busy schedule, it was clear that I was going to have to come back even when it was very inconvenient for me to do so. So I left with very uneven, blotchy, unfinished hair and booked another appointment for 2 days after even though I told her I had an event to go to that day..but I figured I could squeeze in the hair appointment, so I did. As I was leaving the salon, a guy with flowers was walking in and hands them to Kiley and they walked together back to her room. I then realized this was the individual with whom she stated she was having problems with to me earlier. I felt as though it was incredibly unprofessional, as it was then clear to me that she had asked me to leave in the middle of my appointment with awful looking hair, to rearrange my schedule, just so she could handle a personal issue. But, I gave her the benefit of the doubt because she had amazed me with my hair the last time and I was trying to be understanding of what she was going through. I arrived at my second appointment with limited time as I had already told her that I had an event later that day, but this was the only time that I could see her after having to make a second appointment. She still barely spoke, and by the end I was in such a rush to leave that I didn't fully look at my hair to see the outcome. When I paid, I was charged for TWO appointments, so what I paid + the tip was just under $700. I was EXTREMELY upset, but I was late and had to leave. When I got into my car, I saw my hair and I wanted to cry. To make things worse, I had to go to the event with my hair looking the way that it did. My hair was green, teal, yellow, gray, you name it. There were circles and huge stripes of colors when I had asked her for silver hair. Just silver..nothing else. For the amount of time I had spent in such an uncomfortable environment AND for the amount of money I spent... I was so incredibly upset. After a couple of days, I tried to contact Kiley about fixing my hair and her only solution was to make another appointment. Not only could I not afford another appointment with her, but I just didn't even feel like it would be worth it to sit in that uncomfortable environment - and truthfully, I didn't trust her with my hair at all anymore to have even wanted to go back. I am giving Kiley 2 stars, because I really loved my first experience with her, however, I do not recommend this salon. Please save your time and your money before you go through what I went through!

I decided to go to her after seeing her work in instagram, and just to know that she is best friends with another favorite hairstylist of mine that actually gets me. She is super nice, approachable, and very approachable person. I had my hair the lightest (balayage with base) i have ever been and as well as cut my hair and I love it!! The owner, Aleyda, is the one who is doing hair styling on clients. When I walked in, she was very warm and welcoming, wanting to know more about me as a person as well! I love that she also shared her life stories with me. I told her I had a date later in the evening, and she knew exactly what hairstyle would look good on me! She washed my hair and blowed dried it into these curls. I'm usually a little tender headed, and she made sure I was comfortable at each step! When I inquired about her experience, Aleyda mentioned she has been doing this unprofessionally for 10 years, ended up working at a salon for someone else, and decided to pursue her passion of creating her own business. She informed me she studied artistic styling in California, has done hair styles for wedding, and hopes to venture more into lash application and sugaring. It's small, brand new businesses, so don't expect too much in terms of appearance yet! However, the warmth and kindness of Aleyda makes up for it! Tip: To find this place, put the address in Waze. It turns out she turned the $ 100+ appointment into a $ 360+ one and kept trying to sell me additional hair products without informing me of the price change. When I confronted her about the cost, she said she had changed the service type to better suit my hair and would remove the foil halfway since I didn't want to proceed. After washing my hair, I asked if she could quickly dry it because it was dripping wet, very cold outside, and I had just been sick, but she told me it would cost around $150. Did not even give me a towel to dry my hair, never apologized, and her approach turned rude once she realized I would not be leaving hundreds of dollars for a service she didn't inform me of.
