Sooo, I remove the pane, and drive the 30 miles to Cedar. Went to another glass place on Main, and I stood around the lobby for about 10 minutes before somebody came out to help me. They had a definite " you ain't from around here" attitude, wanted $130 to fix the window, and were "to busy" to "maybe" fix it that day. so I left. Found Jones Glass & Paint on Google, and was immediately greeted like they were happy to see me, fixed the window in an hour, and only charged me $75. I also discovered that they sell Dunn Edwards paint! I used to have to bring it with me, as it wasn't available in Cedar City. It is the most durable and easy to apply paint I have found- lasts 8- 10 years on the outside wood siding on my cabin! What more can I say? Excellent service, great products, and fair prices. 5 stars for sure.

After three calls and numerous photos sent to them they gave me an estimate for $440. The estimate that was signed by me clearly states no deposit is necessary. See photos below. Days later their tech came out to measure the needed window. After he left I call Glass Doctor to see the timeframe for installation of the new glass. I was told 6-9 days to get the new glass in and another 6-9 days to wait for an opening in their installation schedule. I politely stated I would like it sooner. The lady said she would speak to the Owner. The Owner called back, mentioned nothing about my wanting the glass sooner, but ONLY TO DEMAND A 50% DEPOSIT. I said, no one has ever mentioned a deposit in the several calls between us. The owner stated it is their policy to collect a deposit. I stated that that wasn't on the estimate. In fact it says no deposit needed. She got very upset with me and stated that she doesn't like the way I'm talking to her. Huh? I wasn't rude, loud, condescending at all. The friends listing on speaker at my home were laughing at her claim. She stated I should find a new company. I said, I would write a review about this and she replied she didn't care. She would just add a reply claiming I was rude to her. So expect that she will be doing just that. Bottom line: The owner demanded a deposit from me as a way to be mean. Frankly, I have no issue with doing so but to demand a deposit simply because I'm inquiring about an estimated install date is unprofessional. Sounds to me I would have been waiting a lot longer than estimated for my glass.

Update to My Purchase Experience…read more At first, I was happy with the order, but things have become very difficult. It's hard to track where orders are, which makes planning tough. The door swing ended up being opposite of what I thought I ordered--Jones' door swing definitions are different from Home Depot and even from industry standards, which caused confusion. The image provided wasn't clear either. What I expected from good customer service was a simple rehang at no cost, since the issue was rooted in unclear information. Instead, I was faced with additional costs to fix it. Overall, buyer beware--what started off well has turned frustrating.

Almost immediately we set up a date that worked best for us both. Bonus: I was in the process of sealing our bathroom grout as it needed a fresh coat and asked Tyler for any recommendations. He suggested that he could do it no problem! Perfect - Kill two birds with one stone! Once again, Tyler's price point (for dryer vent cleaning and grout sealer application) was far better than quotes I received from other companies. He arrived promptly and diligently executed both jobs in a very sanitary method, especially during this COVID-19 pandemic. After he was finished, he cleaned up both areas very well. Availability: Turnover is huge. I have to assume that they have no standard cleaning procedures because the cleaning was uneven and I always had to go over my expectations each time. I was with 2 gals for one year and seldom got the same cleaners twice. I came home 30 minutes prior to their departure every time and with few exceptions, my cleaners were always gone. I even said to some of them, " If you run out of things to clean, please do this...." My floors were not even moped last time nor were my toilets especially clean. Dusting? hmmm, maybe. Doesn't look good to me. For my complaints I got a deduction on my account for $20 bucks. Enough said.

If you asked me to review this company's lawn care service a year ago, I'd have a good review. I can no longer do that. This year there has been a complete turn around. They used to mow over my lawn twice, looked for and treated or removed weeds, walked around the property carefully afterwards to ensure everything was done. The past 10 months, this has not been the case. They jump out of the truck. Trim. Mow. Blow off front sidewalk and are gone. I recently asked to have the many weeds in my yard--especially the side and back yards--taken care of. Nothing. I asked the workers about it. They admitted they were told about my concern. Got out a tool, dug up 2 dandelions in the front yard that I pointed out...then left. You'll pay top dollar for this service and they don't want to be bothered with any requests outside their schedule. In addition, there is no communication about what you want done in the yard. I had a beautiful bush in the yard that grew from a tree that had to be cut down. Instead of trimming it in the Fall, they chopped it down to the stump. It never came back. My neighbor had a tree that was struggling. She was nursing and babying it trying to bring back. She told me they did that to her tree too...chopped it down to the ground. All her work was for nothing. I contacted them in an effort to express my concerns of late. The response I received said, "it sounds like you want to cancel your service. I'll take care of that immediately." Seriously? That's their customer service strategy!!
