And each time, they were not able to get the claim to go through. So when mountain home remodeling came, I expected a similar result. The salesman that we worked with was very friendly and seemingly knowledgeable. After some inspections and back and forth with our insurance company, it turned out that our claim was approved. We were prepared to move forward, but hesitated because we noticed that mountain home remodeling had next to no online presence. They had two one star Yelp reviews in Maryland, an account in home advisor that home advisor explicitly stated they did not recommend the company (along with a handful of old mostly positive reviews) and their website listed Maryland as their location yet their paperwork to us showed a cedar city address. Something didn't seem right. We expressed our concern and were promptly contacted by the owner. He provided contact information for some clients in Utah that he had done work for. I got in touch with a couple and they had good things to say. We decided to give them a shot, and the job pretty much went without a hitch. The owner Keith is a nice, and very persistent guy, but there weren't really any issues. He was always quick to respond to any issues we had. I really think their company should work on getting reviews local to Utah and updating their website, but regardless, if you are contacted by them, you can rest assured they are legit

They were persistent and got the approvals we needed. The work came out great. There was some staff turnover that resulted in a little hiccup. The price he quoted was very reasonable and lower than a previous quote I received from another company. We have had a chronic leak in our roof (when we get a hard rain) over the past 8 years. It has resulted in extensive ceiling damage. We have had three repair companies attempt to fix the problem over the past eight years, but to no avail. There were a couple of vents that needed to be added to exhaust the roof. He mentioned the situation (no roof vents) but did not try to upsell me on them. Landon came to my house for an estimate almost 1 month ago and I'm still waiting for the written estimate. I tried over and over again to get an estimate by calling and texting Landon with no luck.I also talked to Nelson once and texted him 3 times to also be ignored.
