I raised this to the store manager and then to the district office (General Plumbing Supply) only to be told that it was my fault and that I should have checked the box upon delivery. Okay so perhaps maybe, but no one told me when I made the purchase. My advice, when you get delivery, ask the driver to wait, open up all the boxes, remove all the packaging, check the item and all the parts. Not sure a delivery person would wait for that but that is what I was told to do. Oh, and the district manager told me that I got the right item for my project. Hmmm, is he using my bathroom? Does he know my design? Does he know what I need? Don't think so. I was offered NO compensation just, sorry, but this is your fault. Love a business that blames the customer. I had a couple of issues getting through (someone would answer the line and then I would get the "no cell signal" beep and the call would disconnect) but I tried 3 more times and finally got through. The woman didn't announce the name of the company when she answered, so that added to the confusion. Long story short, I was put in touch with one of the plumbers who scheduled to come out and do the repair. I confirmed the appointment date and time with them twice because I was making a special 90 mile drive up to Bergen County for this repair. They arrived within the window and did a great job. In and out in 15 minutes. The cost of the repair was super reasonable also. I am glad I contacted this local business. Knowledgeable and low stress. They will be my go-to for anything plumbing related in my condo!

Because I'm a real estate agent not only do people ask me for contractor names but I often need their help in transactions as well. What do you do when the temperature makes it impossible for a home inspector to test an air conditioning system in a house? Well, that's not all that unusual when the house goes under contract in January. In this case, the closing is the end of this month so Reiner was called in to do a service and inspect on the system. The appointment was for 1 pm, the technician arrived at 1:08 pm. He got the job done in exactly in 1 hour and wrote a thorough, detailed description of what he had done and his findings. He was a really nice guy, used shoe covers when he went inside the house, and both cleaned and inspected the entire system. The only problem is that the invoice copy I received was a middle sheet from pressure sensitive paper and that wasn't good enough to scan or fax. So I called Reiner and spoke to Matea Morin who promised to email me a scanned copy when she came into the office the next morning as she wouldn't have the paperwork until then. Well lo and behold - it arrived from Matea at 8:15 this morning. This is truly outstanding service. I have been recommending this company for years. I have met homeowners who've used them for years. Frankly, I have never heard anyone complain about Reiner. When you call in Reiner or any other similar company, the 1st hour is always billed even if it takes 30 minutes. That's just the way it's done. But Reiner tries to fix before replacing and instead of the $850 cost someone else told the buyer the system would need, Reiner took care of everything for $240.75 including cleaning whatever it is that needed to be cleaned in the attic.

He was vey responsive, offered a great price, gave me options for delivery or pick-up, and made sure the tile was pulled and ready for pick-up. Pick-up was effortless.
