I am so glad we found Industrious! Dani was quick, kind, and helpful - and even after a mix-up on our end with the number of days we needed the space, was flexible and made things happen for us! The space is beautiful, modern, and efficient. COVID protections are thorough, and the amenities are lovely. Would definitely use this space again!

DON'T EVEN THINK OF RENTING SPACE HERE, READ THE AGREEMENT. They ask for 1,5 months security…read moredeposit totally reasonable, right? Problem is it's not a lease, they are not promising anything to you: "You may have exclusive use of ......" Thanks to this rental laws don't kick in. You pay them 1.5 months rent hoping that you will be able to get it back. They keep it in a "non-interest bearing account". What if they go bankrupt how do you get your money back? Oops sorry. During tour they tell you you can have your employee in the room. In the agreement they say room is for one. %25 EXTRA FOR more than one. They are not willing to negotiate when they realize they can't force this agreement on you they say "I don't believe this is a fit". BEWARE

Do not move into Kearny Point…read more Kearny Point promises a lot and fulfills none of the promises that they make when you sign the lease. Check out the attached image, which shows their website list of features with comments about each. It looks like a nice place when you take the tour. You don't realize until after you move in that they do not maintain anything. Bathrooms are always out of order. Just look at the electric car chargers in the parking lot. Every single one is out of order and have been for more than a year. "We will repair them soon." Nope. Worst yet, the management team is hostile. They say no to anything you ask and have restrictive policies that make no sense. They nickel and dime you for every little thing. Especially cleaning services, which can cost more than your rent (and 10x market costs)- and you are not allowed to use an outside cleaning company. And the rent increases are unreasonable. We moved out in 2021. Our staff has been happier since.

*Our rent went up $7000 after our first year lease*…read more We leased a space for a year. Very friendly staff. We loved the space and even helped photograph their events free of charge to help them out since they were a new business. We took some cool photos of the building as well to help them for no charge which they loved and used on billboards of major highways and online marking. After all that they skyrocketed our rent to NYC / Hoboken prices which made it feel like a bate and switch. They also forced us to buy blinds from them at $200 a pop totaling $1000 and didn't let us take them with us or offer a refund when we left. Sad to leave the building but take their marketing for a grain of salt and beware of these things before considering to sign.

Clients beware! Also, in addition to not giving me gear, they were very rude about payment issues. Fast to collect, even faster to freeze my membership and to lock me out of making bookings. Way to kick a man when he is down! They even charged me for storage for gear they would not let me access. They are extortionists at their best. Shame on you guys for taking advantage of someone with a 'disability'. Shame on you for kicking an artist when they are down. Gear often turned up missing in the gear closet. Elevator is cramped. Bathroom is neat, but accounting is dirty. I suggest looking up one of many other rental studios. 28 on 29 for example is quite good! I left them with an open offer, and they are free to reach out to me. All I want to do is pay them for the storage and get my gear back. Thank you!

Workville changed the game for me since leaving NYC due to COVID…read more My company office is in NYC but has been shut down since March and I ended up moving back to California, but my team is still in NYC. What am I going to do when traveling back to NYC and have no office to work from? Cue Workville and boy did they deliver. The location in mid-town is central to anywhere I need to travel to in NYC. Plenty of food options around and safety is paramount at Workville. Hand sanitizer is available throughout, counters are wiped down constantly, Workville residents respect mask-wearing in public areas. Most importantly, support is on hand at all times with Sue, Sabrina, and DJ. If you ask nice enough, they will even let you play your own personal Spotify playlist so you play DJ for your office mates. I love Workville not just for their office layout, nor the wrap-around outdoor deck from the 21st floor, or the free coffee... it's a vibe. A vibe that I need and crave when I visit NYC. As "Ahnuld" said it best, "I'll be back!"

Also, they've recently expanded to take up two floors of the 1412 Broadway building, so there's plenty of room! Oh, and one of the best amenities of all are the balconies that look over the Manhattan skyline. You can sit out there to do a bit of work, have a call, or eat lunch... what a breathtaking view! As you might guess, Workville has many of the amenities you would expect from a coworking site--from complimentary coffee and espressos to private call rooms for escaping noise during business calls. Note that I'm still trying to talk them into free bubbly and vodka after work hours... but one of these days. =) Drop by Workville if you're looking for a new office space. Sue and/or DJ are super friendly and will show you around and give you all the deets. Once you see the space and talk to members of the community, you'll be hooked!
