There cakes are delicious!Their cakes are delicious and all of them are very kind also!

This place makes awesome cupcakes. They tend to be fancy ones (red velvet, german chocolate cake, carrot cake, etc) so I think they use the cupcakes as examples of the cakes they can make. I haven't tried a full cake from them however so I speak for the cupcake experience only. I usually get the german chocolate or the carrot cake cupcakes. I really need to try more, but these are so good that I keep getting them over and over. It is a small, locally owned shop so you may need to wait a minute or two for them to finish what they are doing and come out from the back. Simple shop but I'm paying for something that tastes good, not their decor. Give this place a try, chances are you'll love it. read more

Your Perfect Cake has been good to me in years past so I thought I'd give them a try again. Very happy I did. The cake design was pretty much what I asked for & the price was more reasonable than what other local bakeries quoted me. The taste was so good, moist and fresh even though I picked the cake up the day before my parent's dinner party. I just stored it in the fridge and took it out a couple hours before serving. It definitely had that old fashioned made from scratch taste. I only wish I ordered a bigger cake so people could of had seconds! I received lots of compliments. read more

Ok, the carrot cupcake was good and they had a unique selection. Nothing spectacular. The "make your own cake" option is cool and I've never heard of it before. BUT the service was borderline awful. Nobody is out at the counter, ever. There's a door next to the register and we waited for a couple of minutes before a young woman came through the door and asked if we needed assistance. After she took our orders she quietly slipped behind the door again. I totally understand that the pastries need to be made in the back behind closed doors, but the lack of showing-face makes it a mediocre experience, regardless of the quality of the food. I wouldn't come back again, simply because if there were any other dessert options, I would much rather try those for the first time than come back and dislike the experience at this place. #sorrynotsorry read more

My cousin bought an amazing vegan birthday cake from here. Lots of non-vegans had some and loved it. As a longtime vegan, who has consumed my fair share of vegan baked goods, I can't even begin to describe how incredible this cake was. Moist, sweet - just heavenly!!! I highly recommend the vegan cake!!!!! read more

We ordered a large sheet cake with a half sheet cake on top, decorated in a fiesta party theme. The cake tasted EXCELLENT and looked SPECTACULAR! Half butter, half chocolate on the bottom, all almond on top, with cream cheese icing. The decorations were so pretty! The cake was delivered just as we had stipulated, set up unobtrusively, and drew applause from the party guests. I will attach photos when I get them from the photographer. read more

Love, love, love this place. My husband has gotten my cakes from here every year and we live almost an hour away. They are not only delicious but absolutely beautiful. I don't like things overly sweet so they do a nice job of making mine a little less sweet. Their cupcakes are yummy also!!! read more

As the manager walked back into the baking area, I heard the manager say, "She's getting a free cake and she's still upset." Yes I was still upset because it was my second visit to the store, that morning to pick up my cake, which I ordered three days in advance. The manager says at the first visit, she'll make another cake, since they could not find the cake I ordered. So I returned the second visit, 90 minutes later and she made the wrong cake!!! I ordered a red velvet sheet cake. She made a round cake, which I discovered later was dry. Poor customer service and etiquette from the manager. The assistant, in contrast was quite pleasant and respectful. If you're ordering a cake for an important event, such as your child's graduation from college, don't order from Your Perfect Cake!! Evidently they do not perform well under pressure. read more

I spent $130 on a baby shower cake and got a cake that was the wrong color, completely different from the picture I sent in, and disproportionate. They did not offer a discount and this cake does not go with the theme at all. Don't waste your time, or your money. I will not recommend them to anyone, their cake tastes the same as boxed cake anyways. read more

On Tuesday, May 5th I ordered the special with nine cupcakes to be delivered for my granddaughter the following day in Greenville. My experience with this order was exceptional. The cupcakes were gorgeous and everyone raved about how delicious they were. The pink box with the white bow they were in was lovely. It was so nice to have a perfect experience. The customer service was outstanding too! I highly recommend!! read more

Your perfect cake my you-know-what. I've lost all respect for this business. It used to be my go to place for delicious cupcakes and special occasion cakes. So of course it was my first call for a baby shower cake for my diabetic sister. I asked if one could be made and was promptly told no with no hesitation. What a shame, last time I checked you were a bakery that makes custom cakes. Your perfect cake, you might to consider changing your name. read more

Wayyyyyy overpriced for what you get- but if you have money to burn- arrrrrgh be ye warned!

Dry. Our cupcakes were dry. I ordered German chocolate cake cupcakes for a birthday and on the day I picked them up, I also got a few other flavors out of the display case to try. Every single one of them was dry. read more

My fiance and I scheduled a cake tasting with this place. We drove from Raleigh to make the tasting appointment, and got a call 45 minutes before our appointment saying they had to cancel. After saying we drove a long way to taste their cakes they agreed to meet one hour after scheduled. One problem - there was not really any cake to taste! They had a list of cake flavors they could do, but only two available to taste! This is our special day, and I want the people making the wedding cake to treat it as such! read more

I went in to order a cake for my daughter's birthday. The nice girl took the details and promised me the owner would call me back to finalize and give me a price quote. Never called. After seeing all the bad reviews on yelp, maybe I should be glad, but I'm still annoyed I'm starting over on finding a cake for my daughter. read more

This place used to be my go to to get cupcakes. I ordered some cupcakes and noticed that the first few tasted different and a little dry. I just figured well maybe someone overcooked them or they changed the recipe. The next day I decided I would have another cupcake but before I could eat it I noticed there was MOLD in the bottom of the cupcake and on the bottom of the cupcake wrapper. Usually cupcakes do not go bad in two days. I am really disappointed because their red velvet and pumpkin cupcakes were my favorites. read more

I love this place! I live out of state and since I can't be home for family birthday celebrations, I just pick up the phone (usually only a day or two in advance) and order from Your Perfect Cake. They're super helpful when picking out flavors and have done some awesome designs too! The cake is always ready to go to be picked up by a family member in town and every time the cake is a hit. I'm forever grateful for this place!! read more

I bought my wedding cake from Your Perfect Cake (Greenville, NC). It was great. Amber worked with me to get the custom design I wanted and it turned out beautifully. I loved it. And it tasted so good. Everybody told me it was the best wedding cake they ever tasted. I highly recommend them! read more

Horrible!!!!!! I will never eat in this place again. Staff is unkind, no where to sit. I could go to walmart and get better food. Cupcakes are gross. I know they are from the box and the frosting is cheap tasting. I would die If they did a wedding cake for me, the taste would be laughable. Cookies I bought I tossed. Your perfect cake needs that lady from save my bakery to come and help her. Don't waste your money, go somewhere else. read more

Don't know what has happened to this bakery the cupcakes use to be amazing but the last two times I have gotten them they have tasted old. The cake is no longer moist I don't know if they are now mass producing them or buying already made frozen cupcakes but the quality has gone down so disappointing. I know this owner has mad baking skills because she learned them from her mother who had a great bakery until she choose to retire. read more

Got some "banana pudding", but couldn't find the bananas. And, instead of layered vanilla wafers, these were all crumbly. Basically, I think they put some vanilla wafers in a blender and mixed them with some vanilla jello pudding. Save your money! read more

Perfect cake sale some of the best cakes I've ever eaten, I use to be a regular customer there. Every Saturday I would carry my grandson in there to try one of those build your cake, which was a huge square piece of cake. Not once did they ever recognize me as a regular customer. I would always purchase the same thing for him and myself. I think it's very important to recognize your regular customers. read more

Every once in while, I get a craving for the cream cheese bars...and they are delicious. I love the soft chewy crust on the end. I do wish that they would set a price for them instead of by the pound because that can be rather pricey. Maybe next time I go in I will try something else but until then, these are love read more

I paid over $200 for a mermaid theme cake and a smash cake for my 3 year olds birthday. I sent in the pictures and told the girls what colors were ok to use. When we got there to pick the cakes up they were both the wrong colors and the design wasn't even the same. Because we were already late I couldn't make a fuss or I would have. $225 is a lot to spend on cake and it should NOT have been that wrong. Although my daughter loved it, its not what paid for. I wasn't offered another cake or a refund. I can promise they will never get my business again and I will no longer suggest them to family or friends. Did I mention the flavors were also wrong? They were. The owner is very sweet and so Is the staff but that doesn't change the cake or the money I wasted. I hate the fact that I had to text the owner what I wanted. Maybe my cakes would have been correct if I could have went in and sat down with someone and figured it all out. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. But as I'm reading the reviews I see it already has. Hope this helps others decide to not go here for their events! read more
