What a delight! When…read moreSouthern Seasons closed in Chapel Hill, I thought I would never love again. The European delights that I used to pilgrim towards were yanked from my dreams like a lusty rabbit looking at a carrot. Enter Aji. Years later, my heart has begun to mend as delightful wine and a sweet couple have brought a much needed pop of culture to Greenville. Miki and Kevin were both wonderful hosts tonight; knowledgeable about their servings and treats which made my wife and I ooh and ah (looking at you chocolates and biscuits). The feel is modern and clean, cool and uptown and somehow relaxed at the same time. I plan to come work here in the day sometime (maybe to also get some bites of Made with Love baked goods - Aji is the only outlet for the treats!). The atmosphere begs for an audience and I think that's exactly what it should receive with applause. Come here for something different and delightful and likely decadent. Elevate your palate and have something around-the-worldly and make sure you say hello to Miki and Kevin as well!

The service was excellent; as soon as the employee seen me, she asked me if I needed anything from the bakery. My order was read back to me to make sure everything was correct. I also placed an order for a cold brew everything non-dairy with the exception of the cold Foam and they also made sure that was OK that it was dairy so I can appreciate them paying attention to detail. Now let's get to the food!!!! 10 out of 10!!! I would highly recommend this place. I ended up getting a chocolate croissant. Also a buttery croissant with sugar glaze on top if I'm not mistaken and a bacon, an egg croissant everything was so fresh, buttery, flaky, and delicious. I don't even think I made it to the house all the way before I started eating. I think this is definitely going to be a weekend routine for me to go visit and get some pastries. The only suggestion I would make is add a little bit more bacon to the sandwich. I only had two small strips.

BLACK-OWNED BUSINESS ALERT!!!…read more I would pass this place on my way to and from wherever I was going and was always curious. A few weeks ago, I saw them highlighted in a Facebook group as a Black-Owned business and just had to give them a try. I stopped by on Monday, but they weren't open. Then I came back Tuesday. I walked up, and the sweetest young men were working. Intrigued by the menu, I asked for a taste of the sour papaya, and instantly, my tastebuds were dancing. I asked the young men for a suggestion of what flavor to mix with it, and they were adamant that the mango would be the perfect compliment. Impressed by their product knowledge, I took their suggestion. If I'm honest, it didn't take much convincing because I am a mango fanatic, so it was a win-win! $5 + tip later, I was ready to go. After snapping a picture or two for my Yelpers, I dug right in! The burst of flavors was out of this world. I ate all of it, without hesitation, and knew instantly--I was hooked. I went twice more last week and tried the rainbow and coconut and pineapple. All were delicious, and I'm excited to try all of their flavors soon. If I had to rank them (and it's tight), my palate would say mango and sour papaya, rainbow, and then coconut and pineapple. The coconut and pineapple are delicious but rich. I'm honestly a wimp when it comes to sweets. But I will say that the creaminess of the coconut was terrific. It felt like drinking coconut milk from a coconut in the islands. My Tips: Follow them on social media to see all of the flavor offerings for the day--there are more than what is on the sandwich board; bring cash or have your cash app cued up (prices are $3 for a small, $5 for a medium and $7 for a large); ask the young gentlemen for suggestions, they know their stuff; lastly ENJOY OFTEN, you won't be sorry.

I don't like cherry, so I didn't go with that one, but I did go mango and sour papaya (First to review recommendation). The mango was amazing - creamy texture and sweet (highly recommend). The sour papaya was a good compliment in flavor but it was a completely different texture - much more icy/crunchy.
