She gave me the pixie hairstyle that I've always wanted and even camouflage my thinning hair at the crowd of my head perfectly. She also gave me great hair growth advice (e.g. liquid Biotin, 100% boar bristles brush, etc.) and sold me a wonderful hair growth oil ("D Oil Blend" for $14, it's created by Najah Aziz owner/master stylist/short hair slayer of Like the River The Salon in Atlanta who is major on IG, www.liketheriver.com, www.maryumaglo.com). Im not a person who writes reviews but after my experience today I would like to caution others…read morebefore they use this service. I booked a makeup artist from priv to come to my office before having my headshots taken this morning. I recieved a message 30 mins before the scheduled service that the makeup artist cancelled and couldn't find anyone else to replace her. I was already at my office waiting for the person to arrive-- I had no makeup with me and a photographer arriving within the hour. My communication with priv during all of this was what really disappointed me. They basically gave me the equivalent of a shoulder shrug-- little to no acknowledgement of their impact. I understand people get sick-- and last min cancellations happen. if I had recieved a cancellation message even 2 hours in advance I think I would have felt differently... 30 mins before the appointment just feels incredibly inconsiderate. If you are booking priv for anything you care about (including a $500+ photo shoot) I would sincerely consider looking for a different company.

Used priv for an in home haircut...told the stylist to cut half an inch off the top...he somehow…read moredecided to cut 1 and 1/4 inch leaving like an inch of hair left, a haircut I haven't had since I was a teenager. The experience is also so robotic because they don't ask for a review, nor do they tell you anything aside from the stylists first name. Never using again.
