But I moved to Woodland Hills with a small child only to learn my newly purchased home had highly toxic levels of radon which I found out from my real estate report. I did not feel safe or comfortable living like this even though I couldn't smell it or feel it. I did A TON of research and found out it's one of the leading causes of LUNG CANCER which made a lot of sense because I had heard from people who were otherwise healthy but living in the hills that their loved ones died from lung cancer. I talked to some of my neighbors and my next door neighbor told me they had radon too and recommended Daniel from Prosirv to do testing and mitigation. PROSIRV Radon and Daniel answered right away. He was familiar with the area and gave us a quote right away and it was very reasonable. He informed us about the process to complete the test and mitigation. We agreed on a date and time and two days later he was in my home setting up the testing devices in specific areas and once the test was complete we received a very detailed, comprehensive report of the test results.  Our levels came in at an average of 7.3 which needed mitigation. Because of the health risks, especially with a young child, we wanted to get this done immediately.   Daniel really helped explain the process and kept me calm. As an anxious mom, I felt like I could really trust him. He provided us with a few mitigation options. What I appreciated the most was his level of detail and communication to ensure we understood everything, especially because we had no idea how it would look or function and never seen a system installed before. He gave us options and said that it was a matter of preference and price. We went with the interior installation based on the lower price and what Daniel said would be easier to maintain and less wear and tear from outside elements. Prosirv Radon and Daniel specifically really put us at ease by guaranteeing us low radon levels with the system. You don't know till you know but he kept his word.   Daniel is one of the only specialists in Los Angeles who is certified in both radon measurement and mitigation with a ton of experience which we verified on both the NRPP and California list of radon pros - and also a licensed contractor for construction. He knew and informed us of all EPA standards that need to be met. Having an honest and caring contractor seems like an oxymoron but he really is!!!   A week after testing, Daniel and his team arrived on the day of mitigation and began setting up the testing devices to monitor the levels during the installation of what he called an "active soil depressurization system" to address the original area of the home on one "concrete slab" and the addition in the back on a different slab (we didn't even know there was an addition! Daniel told us after reviewing the building records). I was worried because they had to drill holes and add pipes but they did such a clean beautiful job. From what they explained to us, the pipes were installed in closets in different sections of the home and ran from beneath the slab into the attic where they all connected to a radon fan before exiting through the roof. The pipes were clean and not ugly pipes I thought we'd have to deal with now that we were doing this. They cleared the work area and put up a plastic barrier to contain any dust or dirt and ensure our home remained clean. The fans are so quiet you can't hear them. They were done in half a day and the radon levels had literally dropped to below the EPA action level which he guaranteed! I was so relieved and happy.   He walked us through the completed mitigation system and showed us where we can power it off and on and also check to make sure it is operating through a "manometer on one of the pipes" (see picture). We tested a few days later and levels had dropped to below 1!!!! I finally felt safe in my home again and could not believe that the change would happen so dramatically. He suggested we retest if we do any major construction on the home or replace HVAC systems as they can have an impact of the radon levels or we buy a consumer radon device to monitor levels or retest.   Honestly I could not be happier with Daniel at PROSIRV and his professional caring team. He's really a trustworthy good person with high work ethic and created peace of mind for my family and I. I was literally about to move out of my house before I found Daniel!!!   And I'm fully aware that this is a lengthy review! If I were to do it again, id appreciate hearing others experience too. I'm literally preaching to my friends nonstop to get their levels checked. I commend him on his work and knowledge of radon and I want inform others that if you're concerned about radon, there is no one else to call other than DANIEL and Prosirv Radon! We hired Milben Construction for a residential remodel after receiving a competitive quote and a…read moreprofessional initial presentation. The original scope included a kitchen remodel with a layout change, one bathroom, and flooring. Based on early progress, we executed additional written change orders expanding the project to multiple bathrooms and most of the house. After the final change order was signed, progress slowed significantly. There were often only one or two workers on site, limited supervision, and long periods with minimal activity. Payment requests were made in amounts and at times that did not align with the agreed schedule, and supporting documentation was delayed when requested. As we raised concerns about progress and completion dates, communication became increasingly difficult. In multiple interactions, we experienced the contractor raised his voice, became confrontational, and responded in a hostile manner when timelines or documentation were discussed, making coordination and resolution challenging. By the contractual completion date, we had paid the contractor in full, including a substantial amount beyond the original contract amount, yet the project remained substantially incomplete (approximately 60% completed). Only one of four bathrooms was finished, the kitchen was missing most cabinets well past its scheduled completion date, several bathrooms lacked basic fixtures, brand-new appliances were damaged during installation, and a roof repair, ventitian plaster and other details included in the scope were not performed. After requesting a revised completion timeline, work ceased, and additional invoices were submitted for items that were not completed, not part of the contract, or already paid for. We later became involved in a dispute regarding a lien filed against the property, which was ultimately removed through the legal process. At the time of resolution, it was determined that funds were owed back to us. According to publicly available CSLB records reviewed after these events, the contractor's license is currently suspended during the time this review is written. This review reflects our direct experience. Homeowners are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence and verify license history before engaging this contractor.

We brought these things to the owners attention right away and were "discontinued" as clients. Maybe talk to your staff instead and ask why this is happening, and schedule them properly so they aren't rushed so dangerous or obvious mistakes like this don't happen? Something is off with this business.
