Additionally, I was told I would only be charged $37 for someone to come out, but I ended up being charged $51. I waited for several days after I was to receive a call from them. They said they would follow up with us after providing an 'estimate.' They never called, hence the 2 stars. They charged $29 for a 'trip charge.' But the estimate was free beyond that. You get the $29 back if you choose to let them do their repairs. Two people showed up. We told them the issue and they walked through. The one doing all of the talking said several times how this is 'bad, horrible.' And that was 'not up to Code' and 'who would do something like this!?' His tone was very negative and being a person who tries to be respectful of everyone I found it very hard to let him continue berating our home. When he was done our estimate was anywhere from $1500 to $9000 depending on the items they repaired. There was no measuring other than guesstimating. There were a lot of numbers being thrown out and we have no idea how he even came up with them. So, no follow up, a guessing game of numbers as to the total $ and an over all negative attitude really left me with a bad feeling about them. read more

Called in the morning with a leak outside at the main water line into the house. I was leaving town for the weekend and wanted to fix the problem before I left. Water is pretty expensive to just leave a leak unattended. Within 5 minutes I had an appointment set up and the plumber arrived within 25 minutes. Fixed the problem and didn't slow me down from my weekend. Good job and would definitely repeat if I need further work. read more

Very happy with the service here. I had two plumbers come before them and they couldn't pin point the exact issue. All of my plumbing in my house had been backed up for the last 3 days. I called and they were able to send someone right away! Anselsmo was able to figure out what was causing all of the back up in the lines and was in and out in less than 2 hours. You think giving someone a $20 gift card is going to make up for the everything? Get serious. They cracked my newly installed staircase. Incorrectly cut through two by fours leaving me with an expensive repair for the carpenter. Their water filtration system burst in my garage - water everywhere. I called 'Your Plumber' for two faucet leak repairs. The plumber shows up - goes through my house and checks out all four bathrooms. He told me that I needed to replace three toilets and needed a water filtration system. Close to $5000 later the guy leaves and my tubs are still not fixed. 'Making his money on toilets and a water filtration system was way more important than fixing the issues that I called in about.' Following day a manager came. He had to break down the bill because the other plumber "had trouble." He also had to finish one of the tubs and then gave me a quote to fix the other tub. Question: How was that not included in my total when thats the first thing we went over? I CALLED FOR TWO TUBS TO BE REPAIRED. I NOW HAVE 3 NEW TOILETS AND WATER SYSTEM AND I CALLED ABOUT TWO TUBS. You want to weasel more money out of me!? All of my new neighbors said they still had their original toilets and that I got scammed. Apparently these plumbers walked into a house with four bathrooms and a tired new mom and thought jackpot. They managed to damage my brand new floors and stairs when they were running up and down with the toilets. Following day we had to call them to come back out because the water system they installed burst and there was water all over my garage. Manager comes out and leaves without fixing the other issues we called about. I call and the owner puts me on speaker while he's talking to his employees like a kid. My husband and I googled the toilets they installed because we never heard of the name brand and found Walmart as the distributor selling for way less. I left a google review and it was deleted. On a holiday I felt fortunate that Trevor was able to arrive quickly to take care of everything. He stopped the flooding, contacted United Water Restoration to work on the drying out process and put me at ease knowing that even at 1000 miles away my house was being taken care of. I called here after seeing good reviews, I had severe draining issues. The agent came out, told me all my pipes were wrong and that it would cost $5,000 to repair. I've used My Plumber a few times since moving into this home to correct minor problems. Work seems to have been done correctly since issues have not reoccurred. Prices seem fair. Only negative is that service personnel often do not arrive within the promised 4 hour time frame. If they are going to be late, a call would be most appreciated. read more

I needed a plumber fast. The day after Irma in fact. Your Plumber called me at 9 pm the day I called them and during hurricane clean up. They said they would get to me between 8-12 the next day. I got a call at 815 and was told the tech would call when he was on the way. Devin showed up before 9. That's great service and communication. Both very rare in this day and age as well as being the day after a major disaster. Devin was great, he was friendly and thorough and did a great job. The whole job was done by 1015 and I am so thankful and relieved that Your Plumber was able to help me. I took a chance on a company I knew nothing about and I was definitely satisfied. Wow - what a difference compared to (unfortunately) most of other service companies here in the area. This is how things should work. I'm simply blown away. They now fixed my wiring issues and plumbing perfectly at reasonable price and documented everything for re-inspection. Staff (Devin and Chris) have been very friendly and helpful and made great suggestions. Also got nice 30 min head-up with great information about the tech guys, who will do the job. Stay FAR away! Jake came out to my home to look at our ac and he bold face lied to me. He told me that if I didn't "move" my air handler it would flood into my house. He then advised me that The original company who installed it would not fix it because it was not mechanical he proceeded to use scare tactics since I'm a woman and took complete advantage of me. He collected my payment of $1560 upfront. He then set an appointment for him to come back on Monday. Monday came and he called in called in sick, so He finally came out Tuesday and did half the job and left us without AC. This is when we contacted the owner Shawn H. Shawn who would not give us a refund because we were dissatisfied with Services , he agreed to give us half of our refund back or to come out and complete the job within a day or two. When we called this morning To set an appointment they told us they could not come out until next Monday or Tuesday. Shawn is not a man of his word and did not put us on the schedule as asked. Therefore wanting to leave us without air-conditioning for 14 days in August in Florida, it's inhumane. They refunded me half my money for doing a quarter of the job, they did NOT do HALF the job. So please do your research and get multiple quotes before going with this company. They use scare Tactics, they take payment upfront and do not complete the job, and their word means nothing they are LIARS and it simply DISGUSTS me that there are companies in the world like this. read more

We have had sewage backing up multiple times the past few weeks. These guys were great, they came out and worked to get everything fixed on our side for us. Devon was really friendly. After having more backup problems, jerry, jake, and Steve came out more than once to try and help us understand what the problem was -- the backup was on the city side. Our city wastewater department was, unfortunately, kind of a pain to work with. Your Home Services was amazing because they came out free of charge and showed me with a camera what was going on. We bought a house whose previous owners were under contract with this company to service the AC on a regular basis. Consequently, we continued with this contract when we moved into the house and had the AC system immediately serviced. Fast forward to this Easter, which was roughly 5 month and three weeks after the last service date and our AC unit stopped working. Upon my own inspection I saw that the 1.5 inch drain pipe was completely clogged with pink algae. It was so thick that a 6 inch pink "tongue" of solid algae was growing out of the pipe. We called this AC company who quoted us $120 to take a look despite us being under contract. Since we were within the 6 month period of maintenance but still being charged for this service, we opted to go with another AC company we had reliably used for years previously. When that company's tech came out he was astonished at the level of algae buildup in the system. To his eye, the drain pipes did not look like they had been serviced six months ago based on the level of the buildup. In fact, his standard shop vac approach to unclog the system didn't work so he had to use positive pressure O2 in order to unclog this drain pipe. After paying quite a bit of money to fix this issue, we called this original AC company to terminate our contract and ask for at minimum a prorated refund of the service contract minus the servicing that had been done six months ago. The manager refused and stated that the service call would have been free under the contract despite the quote given to us over the phone. Had we known this servicing was covered we would have used this company, so at a minimum this company needs to better train their dispatchers for situations like these. Anyways, the refund for the contract was refused so we have unfortunately paid for servicing that will never be done. Furthermore, the manager disregarded the opinions of the other company's tech, stating these drain pipes can absolutely have an algae buildup of this size in six months. He also claimed that his techs will only place a shop vac on the drain line and not actually physically clean any sludge during maintenance, just verify that loose debris is removed. When pressed he admitted it was entirely possible that for years sludge had been building up in the system that the maintenance did not take care of it. It's a situation of two company's giving different opinions on a problem, but based on the amount of of sludge I saw in the system I just do not believe these drain pipes had been adequately maintained and hence the completely through and through clog. Furthermore, a refund of the unused portion of the contract would have been fair, and the dispatchers should be able to handle basic quotes properly over the phone for customers under contract. All in all it was a poor experience. read more

they tried to do it again jake come out on 01/04/2020 gave a quote of $2500 to fix drain in tub and $500 to fix the faucet in bath tub and to stop toilet from leaking for free. it come to $3000 my aunt gave them a check for $1500 on 01/ 04 /2020 they told us it was a 2 man job they sent out 1 man he fix the drain in tub but when he was filling in the hole he broke a water line they wanted us to pay $2700 to fix water line they they broke they told us there was any thing that could be done but to replace the whole water line from the main water breaker to the house it was over heard when jake was talking to some one on the phone that he could tap in the line so my aunt gave them cash on 01/07/2020 the amount of $3000 for them to fix water line and she had to pay them $1500 more on 01/08/2020 she all ready paid them $4500 on a $2500 job they left us with out water my brother in law whom work at tampa bay water for 10 years come over and said they was scaming us and had the water line they broke fixed in one hour my brother in law call the cops and got a report so they left with $ 4500 for $2500 job they did not finish we do know if we are getting money back ill keep you all updated on it. read more
