This shop prioritizes profit over players. The DM never remembers names, and sessions feel rushed and uninspired. Despite spending money, I've left every time feeling unvalued and taken advantage of. Look elsewhere for a gaming community that truly cares.
I wanted to love this gaming shop, but my experience has been far from positive. The staff is generally polite, but their gaming practices leave a lot to be desired. The Dungeon Master (DM) assigned to our group is a big part of the problem. She never remembers my name, making me feel like just another customer rather than a valued player.
What's worse is how she runs the games. The sessions feel rushed and uninspired, with little effort put into making the experience enjoyable or engaging. It's clear she's just going through the motions, and it feels like they're more interested in taking your money than providing a quality gaming experience.
I've spent a significant amount on game supplies and sessions, expecting something worthwhile. Instead, I leave every time feeling like I've been taken advantage of. It's frustrating to invest in a hobby only to be let down repeatedly. If you're looking for a place that cares about its players and delivers on what it promises, this isn't it. I'd recommend finding a shop that values its customers and their experience. Like trying to communicate something privately that was a little over the top. I wanted to shove a wand up a goblin's ass and make him go boom if the DM said that she was not allowing me to do that but then lied to me every session after that statingR that no one wanted me there when I had a message privately from every individual person at the table that says I was wanted there except for she and the patrons at the adult. Whatever place.... Adult daycare center. It's really not the best, especially when they just take your money and don't really make you feel like a person
I smoked marijuana out back. Per the instructions of the owner. They got mad. I followed the instructions. I used the wand to fire bolts down a goblins through it. He exploded everywhere. Apparently that was to adult for an adult group. Just remember nobody can take your power and people are not Smart or inspired or innovative when it comes to their storytelling and sometimes they just copy the same binder in multiple campaigns. I went to three campaigns in one week to try to you know do d&d cuz I really wanted to play d&d. I wanted to make some friends but in doing so all the adult groups all the campaigns were the same. The DM kept using the same playbook over and over and over. Everything was the same. All the encounters were the same. All the stories were the same and I asked you know what's different she goes. Oh well you chose to come here. No, I was not eligible for a refund. No they would not help me get a credit towards another session so I said cool. I'll just stick with this one session and then it just got boring. I mean I still talk to all the people who play with. You know it's just some people aren't worth dealing with. Remember the staff. There are not nice people. It's a family-owned business and they definitely like to think they're more powerful than they are. So just remember take your business elsewhere. I recommend sage mantis game Haven or there's another cool gaming place up the street with an awesome guy inside . Either way, don't go here read more
