The main thing I needed done was the bathroom faucet leak; rather than trying to pinpoint the leak John bought me a new faucet assembly, replacing everything, including the old and brittle drain pipe. It was great that he came out to actually take a look at the work I was wanting. He leaving to write it up when he learned I was talking to someone else as well. So he gave me a price in the spot. Since it was just a little higher than another price I had received, sight unseen, I figured it was safer to just go with the guy who actually looked at the work. He said he would have to have some of the work finished on a second trip. I said that was fine. But after the first part was done he wanted payment and said the price did not include the other items. Ridiculous. Why quote a price and then say you left out the price on the items that would need to be finished in a second trip. It makes no sense. If I had know I would have gone with him as now he was very much more expensive. He tried to say it was a misunderstanding but what is the point of giving a quote and then leave items out of the quote? Needles to say anyone working with him needs to get EVERYTHING in writing! read more

He wore a mask and covered his shoes with booties before entering our home. He was able to remove some tiny pieces of glass that were stuck in our dishwasher's spray arm and drain, that we weren't able to remove, and then efficiently replaced our garbage disposal and a shower head.
