My 2021 EZGO RXV was having headlight issues. I called the office; they picked the cart up the next day and immediately began working on it. Dustin, the shop foreman kept me informed of the progress on a regular basis. The cart was finished and cleaned up two days after it was dropped off. After I got the cart back, the motor brake wasn't working. I called Dustin and he came out the next morning and reprogrammed the controller. Everything is great now! I called this comopany to put new batteries in my golf cart. I told them I wanted the exact same watering system. Steve came at 7 a.m. to pick it up, was supposed to deliver it back to me between 3 and 5 pm. I called at 5 10 to see where he was, no one answered. Steve called me 5 minutes later and said I wasn't going to get it back that night and that something was wrong with the ignition! There was NOTHING WRONG with the iignition! Steve brought it back the next morning and they had not put the watering system on as we requested - sp he took it back. I had to keep calling to find the status of my golf cart and when I was going to get it back! - the people did not return calls as they should have to inform customers as to what is going on and if something else was needed before they moved forward! . I would NEVER RECOMMEND this company to anyone. The only nice person I talked with was Melissa (I think her name was Melissa, the owners wife). Not at all happy with this company, they screwed up the ignition because now when you put the key in to turn it on, it doesn;t work, have to "backtrack" it a little in order for it to start. Now I have to pay more money to have someone else fix the problem that this company made!!!! Cost me much more than. the estimated cost originally! Absolutely not a happy person!!!!! read more

Beware, Your Golf Cart Guy picked up my cart and installed 4 new tires. When they delivered the cart the mount for the sand bottle was broken. My snowbird renter was able to fix the broken piece. I ask for a discount, and would have accepted less than what it would have cost them to send someone out to fix it. They said their golf cart trailer is an open trailer and they aren`t responsible for any damage. I live out of state, 1,000 miles , or would challenge them on this claim in small claims if necessary. read more

I am thrilled with the service I received from Your Golf Cart Guy. I called onFriday and described the problem I was having to Melissa. She told me the service they could perform, what the cost of the service was, as well as the cost to pickup and drop off. Mike showed up on Monday when he said he would, performed the requested service and had my cart back to me the very same day. He even gave me tips on proper braking so I wouldn't incur an expensive motor brake replacement cost. They were honest, professional and did what they said they would for the cost they quoted - no hidden charges. We own two golf carts and neither cart held a charge. I called YGGG and asked for help. I was told we should start with checking the battery charge and that someone could come out and 'supercharge' my batteries. Someone came, plugged in the supercharger and left. Never asked me what the problem was or looked at the carts or the batteries. He told me to unplug the supercharger and then it would most likely be fixed. He said he would come back and pick up the supercharger in the future. I did what he told me and the carts still didn't work. I was then told that the carts needed to go into their shop to figure it out, at &75/cart one way, or $150 round trip for one or $300 round trip for two. The diagnostic charge was something like $149/hour. So all those charges before anything was even fixed. I then was told I owed $155 for the supercharging. Again, he was here 5 minutes, but he did drive to and from my house. I felt something was 'off' so I just said thanks but no thanks. Now, about a week later I have had both picked up and taken to different shops, based on their make. One has been fixed for $54.40 which included pick up, delivery and fixing . YGGG would have been way higher. Buyer beware. read more

I recently had some work done by the golf cart guy which involved putting a reducer on my battery system and a new tire and some light bulbs. The first time the cart was returned, it didn't work and had to be picked up again for more work. When it came back the second time I noticed they had replaced the battery gauge on the dashboard. I didn't ask them to do this and they denied doing it. The problem is the new gauge doesn't work and they are still claiming they didn't replace it. The manager got pretty nasty with me on the phone and said they don't want to do business with me any more. I am now at a loss because they refuse to stand behind their work. The biggest con job on a repair I've ever had. Charged twice as much as EZ Go. Wish I had never met this company. Then within a few months what they put in had to be replaced. Thank you very much for your fantastic and efficient service. My wife had to leave our dead cart on hole #13 in the middle of the fairway. It had to be towed into the pro-shop and Dennis recommended that she call Mike at "Your Golf Cart Guy, LLC." I called Mike's office and, within 1/2 hour, he was there to meet me. Buyer beware! Called these guys for a "tune up" and let them know the golf cart wasn't charging. $160 later they returned the cart. The battery compartment wasn't cleaned and although they said they had cleaned terminals some were actually corroded. There was a free floating nut left loose in the compartment as well. When I tried to tighten the loose terminals the cart sparked like a short. The charger would not work. I called and complained so they picked up the cart again. Of course I now received a call stating that my battery ties were corroded. They replaced them and also replaced the DPI charger plug costing $200 this time. So now I am out around $400. They returned the cart after 3 days. When I tried to charge the charger wouldn't shut off. After checking, they replaced the original 3 pin plug with a 2 pin. I am furious at this point and called. The idiot said they only replaced what was on the charger which is a bald faced lie. I bought this cart from a friend who's owned it since new. He never replaced the charger plug. I called DPI the manufacturer and they of course said that 2010 Yamaha Drive carts required a 3 pin plug. Pretty logical since the receptacle on the cart is 3 pins! THESE GUYS ARE RIPOFF artists in my opinion. If you take your cart to them after reading this be sure to take pics before and after and document everything. Check their work carefully. read more

Absolutely the worst place to get your golf cart fixed. The owner knows nothing about repairs and maintenance and has horrible service and people skills. My car was never fixed completely and had to return it multiple times. Finally got fed up and called the only guy that I knew could fix it. Was done in an hour.
