Highly Recommend Andrea & Her Family Grooming! Andrea and her family are absolutely amazing! They take such wonderful care of Sunny Boy and Coco Bella and truly treat them like family. They always go above and beyond, and that means the world to me. My dogs are so happy when they arrive and just as happy, clean, beautiful, and loved when I come to pick them up! It gives me such peace of mind knowing my babies are in such caring hands. I love Andrea and her family and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a groomer who will love and care for your pets like their own. Five stars from Sunny Boy, Coco Bella, and me! read more

It saddens me to be leaving this review, but it's important for others to know about the accident that occurred with our French Bulldog. Our frenchie, Spade, has been going to this groomer for a few years and our family (including Spade) loved it. We loved the environment and the owner who is amazing. The environment of this shop is unique and laid back. At any time, dogs are roaming around the business waiting to be serviced or picked up. Usually when picking up, we'd find Spade hanging with a staff member or roaming around with other dogs. Unfortunately, during a visit in September, we had a very different experience. We dropped Spade off for a 9am appointment. At 12pm, we received a text that he was ready for pick up. I arrived at the shop at 12:30pm. I was told Spade was in the back and waited for him to be brought out. It took about 5 minutes for him to be brought to the front, which was very abnormal. Even more abnormal, the noise and panting Spade was experiencing. It was not an average pant, which is normal when he's playing or energized. It was the most awful noise that bordered a choking sound. I paid and was offered water for him that I declined. We drove off, but the noise persisted. I started to panic a bit and decided turn around for the water that was offered. I went back to the shop and asked for the water. At this point, Spade was deeply distressed. He was making that panting/choking noise, laying than standing, switching body positions. He wasn't drinking any water at first. An employee helped me hold his head and force him to drink. The employee also put water on his body. Another employee put lavender oil on his paws and claimed that help cool down. Spade and I stayed there for maybe 10 minutes hoping he'd calm a bit. Unfortunately, it did not help. While there, the owner, Andrea let me know that Spade had been waiting in a kennel/crate. Anyone who works with French bulldogs knows how they can easily overheat, especially when in small spaces with no AC, and have difficulty breathing in general. She kept telling me that a newer employee (I assume she was new because I'd never seen her) put him there and she has been told not to do that. Unfortunately, it was a bit too late for that. After learning this, I decided to take Spade to the emergency room. In the ER, He was immediately rushed back and given life saving care. He spent 4 hours in the emergency room and we were left with about a $2000 bill. Obviously we'd pay anything to get him care, but that is large amount of money for us. We were told that he was overheating. His constant breathing caused his throat to be inflamed, which makes breathing more difficult. If I waited any longer to go tot he ER, we may have had a much different ending. This event traumatized not only our family, but our Spadey. His personality for a few days after was very sad and he chose to isolate for a bit. We've emailed the business to seek compensation for his emergency care. After no response, my husband stopped by to speak with the owner to seek compensation. At this time, we have not received a response. We wish this business success, but do recommend they take better precautions and care of the animals: more organization, better training on specific breeds, providing better AC, bigger crates/cages if using them, quicker servicing and notification system for owner/parents, veterinary care on staff. For owners, we highly recommend staying near by while your dog is being serviced and picking them up right when they are done. We, however, would never trust our Spade going back. read more

I have a golden doodle and a cockapoo that I bring in for grooming or just sometimes "bath and tidys" and I absolutely love Andrea and her whole staff! They clearly love all the dogs that come in, and another great thing about this Groomers is that they are not kept in kennels. They're free to roam around at their leisure with big bulls cold water drink from. The dogs always come home looking fabulous and smelling great so if you are new to the area or like me, you've been here for a while and you're looking for a really good groomer, then Your Friendly Groomer Andrea is the place for you to go and take your furry friends. read more

This place is the BEST. Andrea and her team are so talented. During the summer we don't get the dogs haircuts because we'd rather wait till we come back to the desert so they can see Andrea. She just does such an exceptional job. She and her team always remember my dogs and makes them feel welcome so we always know they are in good hands. I truly wouldn't go to anyone else for your doggies' haircuts. read more

I am so happy that I found these guys. They were friendly, professional and made my dog feel comfortable right away. They also knew to inspect my pup first before I left so that I would not return to surprise charges. I noticed that they let the dogs cruise the front room with the other dogs and staff instead of cage them. My dog seemed happy and content with her experience. Jen Molly read more

Once again Andrea did a wonderful grooming service on my Pomeranian Roma. She's 14 and needs to get done regularly as she has a massive coat. She looks so cute. They treat all the dogs like their own and I have never been disappointed! Thank you again and we will see you in a few weeks read more

Great dog groomers! Highly recommended. They do a great job with our 2 AussieDoodles.

I was recommended this groomer from another groomer and it was the best thing ever! Andrea is the owner, and she has been working the desert for the last 20 years and probably more in pet grooming. She was amazing at the first place she was at, now she has her own place! Her staff is excellent! Josh was so kind, friendly and professional over the phone. He was very kind to my dog while there, and the other staff members as well. I am very picky about groomers and I would 100% recommend this place to anybody who loves their pet. read more

My dogs were there for 5 hours. i keep going back to get them, nothing g had been done. I left them at 11 am and got them back, barely before 5 pm. I was charged $65 each with the understanding they were getting bath and haircut. I was late for a dinner engagement and when I got them home, it looked like one of them had not even been groomed, except for fanny. I had to bring her back and lady on phone was visibly upset. I am not sure what these people are doing over there, but they also let dogs run free, but only ask for rabies certs, not distemper vaccines or kennel cough being up to date. And they also say they do dog boarding. oh hell no. Do yourself a favor?, take your dog over to "you dirty dog". At least you know what is being done to your dog., as you do it yourself. When I asked if they could even them up, they wanted another $45, each. Dont waste your money or your dog catching a disease from a situation with a dog, for paperwork they don't ask for. read more

Updating my review the first experience was great. The following were mediocre and our most recent they cut my dogs eyelashes off and did not tell me until I noticed it after I picked him up and called them back- really no offer to do anything besides sorry we made a mistake and your dog moves a lot but he is getting better?! $140 for my dogs eyelashes to be cut off, his little balls are red and irritated from being shaved to close and the cut is so uneven. So disappointed in the quality and professionalism we won't be returning. read more

Rest assured if you leave a voicemail, they will give you a call back. :) I left a voicemail late Friday and was promptly called back first thing Monday morning on their first business day back open. I had called for the time of my dog's appointment since I forgot and Andrea let me know the time and made sure I was set up for reminders moving forward. She was very personal and nice upon arrival. She made sure to come to the front and acknowledge our dog and made sure he was comfortable with her. She asked important questions in regard to him and asked what we were looking for. She let us know she'd give us a heads up when he's almost finished up which we received and a nice text follow up letting us know he was ready to be picked up. He looked like a completely different dog but in the cutest way, as we asked for him to shaved down for the summer. When we got there she was finishing up with him and treated him gently and with lots of care. They offer such a personal and unique experience. We'll be back. :) read more

Great staff and quality work. Takes longer to get groomed than previous shops I have used before but dogs are allowed to roam around and not be kept in a cage. Today's grooming was more expensive than prior visits but my fault for not keeping the mats in my dogs hair under control. read more
