Immediately after my visit, i was introduced to her office assistant who tried to sell me an annual/member subscription for which many services i did not need. i left the office saying i would review, however, most likely a monthly subscription would not be something i would be interested in and went my merry way. Next day i went to my pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions which Dr. Cohen had told me she was prescribing, much to my surprise there were no prescriptions. When i called dr's office, i was referred to office assistant who said, i neglected to tell you last night, but prescriptions are not covered unless you sign up for the membership fee (I JUST PAID $650.00 FOR THIS VISIT AND PRESCRIPTIONS NOT COVERED????????............. I went ballistic -- i said you NEVER disclosed that, what kind of doctor sees a patient and prescribes meds and expects a membership fee, WHAT ABOUT THE $650.00 I JUST PAID WHAT WAS THAT FOR????? NO RESPONSE. OFFICE ASSISTANT APOLOGIZED AND SAID SORRY I DIDNT DISCLOSE THIS ABOUT THE PRESCRIPTIONS LAST NIGHT. I SAID NO WORRIES I AM GOING TO DISPUTE THE AMEX CHARGE AS I DONT PAY DOCTORS THAT ISSUE PRESCRIPTIONS AND FORCE A MEMBERSHIP FEE THAT I DONT NEED DOWN MY THROAT FOR FURTHER INSULT TO INJURY. Bottom line, had i gotten my prescription, all would have been well -- in 4-6 months i would have made another appointment with this doctor as is usual and customary with other practictioners such as her, however, this dr forces you to pay not only $1500.00 for two visits, but then another $3500.00 for the subscription. I thought she was a medical doctor not a personal trainer --- STAY AWAY FROM THIS FALSE PRETENSE OF A PERSON -- she wants to sell shakes that taste horrific, books that make no sense and just in it for the money as opposed to sticking with her oath as a medical practitioner -- plenty of good doctors out there. I will continue to dispute my charge with the credit card company and continue to write these reviews as it is my duty to advise the public to stay far away from Dr. Dana Cohen. By the way to be even more transparent since writing bad reviews is not my thing, had my credit card charge for $650.00 not been challenged i may not have even bothered to write this review, however, this doctor thinks they can deceive the public, NO WAY, I AM GOING TO WRITE A REVIEW ON EVERY PLATFORM OUTTHERE TO ENSURE THAT THE PUBLIC IS PROTECTED FROM THESE PEOPLE THAT ARE IN IT NOT TO UPHOLD THEIR OATH BUT FOR GREED ONLY.

How I see it, she either is unprofessional and that's her side job only when she doesn't stresses about other matters, OR her whole business is sketchy and you should definitely not trust her with your money. Inna Topiler is one of the most empathic and kindest healthcare practitioners I have had the…read morepleasure to work with. As someone who has successfully dealt with health problems of her own (hypothyroidism - see her website), she truly understands her patients and is able to put herself in their shoes. Her approach is highly integrative and she will treat conditions that many other doctors stubbornly ignore (or deny the existence of) such as adrenal fatigue and leaky gut syndrome. She works with supplements and herbs, which to me is far preferable to harsh pharmaceuticals that are more likely to induce side effects. When you first see her, she will perform any necessary tests or have you order them, including saliva, stool and hair - tests that many conventional doctors do not offer, but which are still - in my opinion - extremely valid and often more accurate than blood tests (which she is unable to order as a nutritionist in the state of NJ). For blood tests, she works with local doctors, so if you need tests that your doctor is refusing to do, she can request that they do the tests on her behalf. What's more, she's always up-to-date with the latest research, patiently explains everything and encourages a partnership with her patients as equals. I'm highly impressed with how Inna will always go the extra mile. She is always very kind to promptly answer my emailed questions between appointments and her staff are also very friendly and efficient. Like many in her field, Inna doesn't take insurance, but will draw you up a super bill to submit to your insurance. Compared to others in her field, I find her prices to be very reasonable. I also appreciate that at times she has wanted to give me samples of certain supplements before I buy them to see if they are right for me personally and save me money in case they aren't. Inna has an amazingly positive attitude, which rubs off on her clients, and is a strong believer that a happy mind goes hand in hand with a happy body, an aspect that many other practitioners neglect. In essence, Inna is a true healer who genuinely cares about her clients' health. Such people are not easy to find, so when you do you treasure them even more. This review represents my subjective opinion based on my personal experience.
