He came over and made sure everything was okay, provided an ice pack, and was very comforting and attentive. That level of care really stood out to me. The facility itself was clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. This location did seem a little less busier than the location in Davie however, towards the end of the day, it does pick up a little bit. I also really liked that they offer adult beverages liquor, wine, and canned drinks which gives parents a chance to relax a bit while the kids play. The fun bites were fresh, sweet, and crispy definitely a highlight. They also have Dippin' Dots (one of my favorites), and those did not disappoint. We ordered pizza, chicken tenders, and fries as well those were just okay, nothing special, but the kids enjoyed them. Pricing was reasonable overall. Just note that socks are required and need to be purchased, and jumping is charged by the hour. Some attractions like the zip line and arcade games come with additional fees. I really appreciated the designated area for kids under five it's a safe space where little ones can play without worrying about bigger kids.

Alot of claw games for higher ticket points. I noticed one virtual game and one motorcycle race ride. Various fighting games and fair type ones. The large air hockey was not working there were 2 smaller tables and a pool table, which we noticed had 2 of the same number 15 balls and another missing. You can only buy either $20 or $50 or even more expensive game card nothing in-between it offered 400 points or 1200. They also required to sign a waiver even though we only were going to play video games, which was off since other places do not do that. We still just made the best of it to enjoy the fun.

I had never done a color run so I was excited. It was the most disorganized run ever. Upon check in there was a giant line I am not sure what for because the registration table was not taking people from the line but anyone who just walked up. I noticed this not long after I waited thankfully. Each person had to pay an additional 5 dollars cash even with the groupon. They did not ID you or have you sign any paperwork. And they gave you 1 pack of color powder each. The area pre/post race had a couple of food trucks and vendors. In the middle was a BIG stage with a dj and some hype man type guy trying to get the energy up. There was also a woman dressed like a broke ass raggedy ann up there doing the same. The wave we were in was the 6pm one. The course itself was a joke and so unorganized that a ton of people thought the race started so they ran off. The rest of us had to wait for them to return back before they officially started the race. You had to run the course twice to complete a 5k which means you had to actually exit the course through the finish line and try to make your way through a huge crowd in the post race/dj area and enter in the starting line again. In the course the actual track was way too narrow for all the people there. People were zigzagging between others and cutting off parts of the course. I'm pretty sure I inadvertently missed a whole chunk of the course because It wasn't marked off correctly. They do throw color on you pre race, mid race and at the finish line. You end up getting covered even if you aren't trying. They have a lot of black lights in the mid race and post race area so it pops the powder color. Overall I'll never join this 5k again total rip off. A lot of kids were there and seemed to be having a blast so for families this could be a great healthy alternative to watching the Disney Channel on a saturday night.

I finally got annoyed enough to force my volunteerism...yep..I went behind the table and helped them disseminate the packets. Beside the above debacle ...this was so fun..and I actually improved in my time- even with a cold. I met lots of fun people and the music was great. I will recommend this for teams and veterans...first timers may feel a bit overwhelmed with running on the sand and the lack of cheerleaders on the path.

West Palm Beach Marathon - 1.5 mins too fast for my pace at mile 20

This was the third time pacing the West Palm Beach Marathon but it is my first time reviewing it…read more It also happens to be my 80th career marathon. While I'm not racing the event I am running it as a pacer which essentially is maintaining a consistent split / mile and making it to the goal time which for me was 10:41 minutes/mile for 26.2 miles equates to a 4 hours 40 minute goal time. As an out of town pacer Marathonpacing.com paid for my Hotel at the Hilton, dinner at Brio, Tuscan Grill, and my registration fee was waived. Not bad! I also was eligible for a finisher medal and a free race shirt. However, one of the main reasons I pace a marathon is to give back to the running community. Helping runners achieve their individual running goals along the course. Providing motivation and experience. The pace team was up at 5am and greeting runners at the starting line at 5:30am. The race started at 6:15am. The full marathon is typically cooler but gets progressively warmer to the point of unbearablility. The race temps were in the high 60s and gradually got to the mid 70s. Because of the humidity it felt much warmer. The course for 2017 was new in that for the first time it crossed over to Palm Island. This was really cool! Sort of reminded me of Miami. Thankfully there was no flooding on the course either due to the King Tide. Another high light was a massive fire that ensued near the heat of down town WPB. Thankfully it was just a few blocks the race course and firefighters had it under control but it was cause for alarm. The race ran within 1/4 mile of half marathon so half marathoners who wanted to finish in 2:20 or less also followed me. After the half marathon mark the crowd thinned significantly and while there were relay runners who passed me there was not one person who stuck with me the whole race. So I continued to buckle down at 10:41 as I slowly passed some of the runners who were having a rough time on the course. At the finish line there were sandwiches and beer for running participants and plenty of sunshine to warm the intrepid soul. It was another fun time out in Palm Beach.

I was shriveling up like a raisin 26.2 times. The start of the marathon was temperature perfect, but it got hot way too fast. The course is nice because you run on the street that borders the shore. It's a very flat course, it just loops around a lot so when you see people at their 15th mile passing you in the opposite direction when you're only at the humbling. And this happens all throughout the course. Runners keep asking each other when the turn around is. The expo was pretty lackluster. To be dim is whatever, but it was pretty much one of the least bustling ones I have been to next to Harrisburg. Two tips: 1. Don't run this unless you plan on finishing in less than 3 hours 2. Run this if you love the heat (80+ degrees, and that's just standing around) The first finisher was about 2 hours and 30 minutes, which is bad for a marathon. That's sub-elite time - that's how intense the heat was.

We went in a large group, and got to try out both the racing and the shooting game they offered. The actual race is so fun - you can buy a package to do two races that's around $25, but they offer group discounts and deals the more tickets you buy. I had a blast racing the go-karts, and it was even more fun because I beat my entire family much to their dismay. While the go-kart experience is fun, the entire experience of Battle Racing is pretty mediocre. The building itself is pretty run down, and the staff is not very welcoming or helpful. The place doesn't have a lot to offer in terms of other games to play while you wait your turn, and they also do not offer reservations and the experience is first come first served. I would imagine that creates a weird experience if you aren't the first ones to arrive like we were. There is only one bathroom for the entire space, so if the place is full you have to wait quite a bit. They also offer food and private party services, but seemed pretty unprepared for our private party which my cousin booked in advance with time details and food requests. I think this place could be really successful if they spruced the place up a bit, offered a bit more organization when it came to booking, and had a more welcoming team. There is definitely potential, but it missed the mark for our party this weekend. There is a free parking lot in the back of the building, as well as street parking. Overall, if you want to go-kart race here I would be prepared for an in-and-out experience as it's not a place you want to linger.

We either caught this place on the come-up (maybe a "soft opening"), or it has not reached its…read morepotential. The space is great & the location is good. The things that have been paid attention to (outside decor, the inside lighting, the overall theme etc) are well done. From that aspect, you are transported once you walk through the doors. But, the inner-workings lack the competitiveness to be in the same general area as K1 racing or Dave & Busters. There are better options that appear to run a tighter & cleaner operation 20 minutes in each direction. The battle karts were fun & do employ the gaming aspect that make them more than just go karts. But the software is wonky, the track felt small, & the safety precautions by the attendant were pretty much nonexistent (we had a 9 year old riding w the belt half on & a 14 year old who asked the attendant about tightening the seat belt only to be waved at & be told that it didn't matter). Eating in a room with only neon & black lights isn't too bad...unless you have to kill a roach (which we had to do) & then not having clear, bright-light sight of your food is concerning. (I know this is S FL & having a roach in a warehouse in downtown in the heat is hard to avoid - but this is my actual experience & if that sort of thing grosses you out, I thought you should know.). The gel-ball shooting game is pretty innovative - a mix between paintball & nerf that use small gel caps that sting but don't hurt too bad. Face masks are provided with different nerf implements to use as shields. The space for this competitive team shooting game is a shared space, with spare battle karts taking up a portion of the area. While the shooting zone is separated by a chain link fence, spectators do get hit with strays. Although players have masks, spectators are completely vulnerable. Several older people in our party opted to wear their sunglasses just to protect their eyes while watching others play. The location only has 1 bathroom, which is next to the shooting zone. So, if you are waiting in line during a match, there is a large probability that you will get hit (whether you are part of the party playing or not). The gel bullets move pretty fast & erratically - we found gel pellets in our curly hair for hours afterwards...a warning to anyone with textured styles. After driving & shooting, we were pretty warm. The place hasn't figured out ventilation & is generally warm. They do have air conditioning, but unless we stood directly below the vent - we were breaking a sweat. Here's the overall thing - I'm a Miami guy. I want to support small operations trying new things- even if they haven't quite figured it out yet. I like start ups, out-of-the-box labors of love. There are places that I haven't rated on Yelp bc I had a below average experience, but I felt that the proprietors were giving it their all. I'm not high maintenance - I don't need posh. And if this place had been in a non-gentrified area of town, I think I'd be okay. But, if you are going to spend money for go-karts & shooting games - I would regrettably suggest some place else.

It was pretty dirty and it seemed like the bathrooms were really unkept, but I noticed this time they had people at every single bathroom keeping them clean every time I went to the bathroom, it was super clean now Road Atlanta needs to catch up with them. I like the new bridge crossovers that let you get to the paddocks and over the track. The shuttles have been great for people who don't feel like walking and especially when my knees needed a break from the stairs. Temporary signs were everywhere and the free parking for those whom didn't purchase or have an inside parking sure is nice as it helps it brings a bigger crowd to the races and helps promote and keep the sport popular. I did get to park inside with my four day pass and that was really nice to not have to buy it separately but also the free parking wasn't super far either. The weather has been great so far and the track staff have kept the track clean and so far it's been a fun event. I'll update after the race with any post race feedback. I finally found the free program with the map of the track layout and the shuttle stops have a track map also. This has been super helpful. At Daytona they had either ran out or didn't have maps and it was challenging and frustrating. They need to add temporary track maps to their shuttle stops like Sebring. I also like how the shuttle staff were familiar with the stops and helped navigate when and where to get off based on where you were wanting to go, something the staff at Daytona definitely had no clue about and their lines were long and fans were frustrated not knowing where to go or if they were even getting on the correct shuttles.

I went to the one in Orlando (near Silver Spurs Arena) two years ago. They had an adults only…read moresession for 3 hours, which is so good because adults should act like kids without being stared at too. The main bounce house session is 45 minutes long as has a DJ playing music and engaging the bouncers. The bounce house has various activities like crawling, climbing, and sliding. There are various objects you can interact with too. The bouncing can be vigorous and you can accidentally bump into other people literally and fall, but it's all fun and and the inflatable catches you well. There are space hoppers and cage balls you can play with as well. Unfortunately, the space hoppers are mostly kid sized, but it didn't stop me or others adults from getting on and hopping around. We will fall off pretty easily if we go overboard, but it's laughs everywhere. With the cage ball, the DJ will have a contest on how long we can stay it in the air. And of course, when the contest isn't happening, people like me will try to jump on, with disasterois and hilarious results. Other DJ contest was the limbo, but instead of ducking under, you need to jump over it instead. After 45 minutes, the people thank you for visiting, and you can play in the other areas. There was a giant slide area, a sports themed area, an obstacle course, and a foam area. The 2 areas I used mostly were the sports and foam area. The sports area had a climbing wall, joust, and basketball. There were also space hoppers and cage balls there, so I couldn't resist mounting and having some rides on them. The foam area would have gotten you wet with foam, but there was no operator to do that, so we played and bounced around the area. There were so inflatable animals that looked mountable, but sadly deflated quickly if I tried to get on. Luckily, there was an obstacle tentacle that someone helped me get on, so I could bounce on it like a horse. Lol. The bounce areas are mostly clean, but you will see some leaves here and there, and sometimes it can get wet from the rain. The attendants are mostly volunteers and were friendly. Depending on their mood, they do engage with other people to have fun. While there were rules at bounce areas, most attendants were lenient with the enforcement as long as you were doing anything too crazy or dangerous that would risk other people. That's the advantage of the adults only session. There were armed security there as well, but no metal detectors or scanners to go through. There were food trucks as well, but didn't buy anything because it was expensive. There are free places to store your sneakers and other items as well. Once the whole 3 hours ended, you get thanked for attending and you head out. Parking was free in our park. The Big Bounce America experience can be expensive for the adults only event, but it is worth it if you want to relive your childhood and act like a young kid for 3 hours. The bounce areas are clean and fun, and the rules are lenient as long as you're not going overboard. Attendant are friendly and engaging, and the music is pumping. I wish they come back to Orlando or another city in Florida. I also wish they had more different types of my bounce areas instead of the same thing every year. But it is still a fun place to be a kid again. Overall: B+
