Similar to a car you need to be 16 to drive one so my 11 year old daughter was on the back of mine and my 6 and 9 year old sons joined my husband. We met Dominic at the Pioneer Park- boat ramps in Deerfield Beach. Please note that this location is different than the address on the Yelp review since we were a bit confused ourselves. We started off slow getting used to the jet skis and also admiring the beautiful homes on the intercoastal. Then for about 30-45 minutes we got to go as fast as we could zipping over massive waves and holding on for dear life. I thought we were speed demons, but my thrill seeking daughter kept yelling at me that I wasn't going fast enough. My 9 year old son did fall off the back of my husband's jet ski, but he claimed that was the most fun part of the excursion. .And Dominic was nearby the entire time to help out in these situations and more, but overall we felt very safe. 1.5 hours was perfect and everyone had a great time. They declared it their favorite day in South Florida and made us promise we'll rent jet skis again on a future trip. Done!

I just moved to South Florida from Connecticut and brought my kayak with me in hopes of seeing some wildlife. My boyfriend doesn't have a kayak of his own and suggested we book a rental with a tour guide to show us around - I am so glad we did! Misty and her super cute canine, Abu, were the most amazing tour guides ever. Before our arrival, Misty kept in contact with excellent communication. She provided quality rental equipment, and not only did we feel very safe the entire time, she is an expert at spotting wildlife. The Peanut Island paddle was suggested for us - we were so blessed to see an abundance of manatees floating under us, a stingray, a starfish so big I almost called the Guinness Book of World Records (haha only half-joking!) and plenty of beautiful birds, lizards and fish. The excursion took about two hours and we never felt rushed at all, although it was just the right amount of time before we started to get a little tired. Can't thank Salty Dog Paddle enough for this incredibly special and very memorable experience. After I signed up I contacted Tatiana to make sure she saw my reservation. After some discussion on the phone she made it clear that the trip I selected would not be a great option today based on the waves being so rough. So she offered to take me on an inter coastal waters tour. She came and picked me up from the hotel and brought me out to the launching dock. We went out and had a great time. I would definitely come out again.
