Our boy is a bit mischievous and likes to wander away from the group too much, so Wali offered to board him for a couple of weekends to work on training, and we definitely see improvement. Of course, we could've just hired a dog walker to walk our boy a couple of times a day while we're at work, but it's 100% worth the money for us to know that he's out enjoying nature and socializing with other dogs during the day, instead of just being bored on the couch between walks. We recently moved and the worst part of moving was that we are longer be in the Trail Tails service area (it honestly weighed heavily in our decision, if that gives you an idea of how much we loved Trail Tails). Wali and his team are fantastic with dogs - they not only try to enforce good behavior (like recall and "playing nicely" with other dogs), but I can tell that they also show a lot of affection to these dogs and make sure "the pack" has an awesome time day in and day out, regardless of the weather. I also had my dog stay with Wali and his team over a few weekends and he seemed to have a great time. I also loved that they posted pics on Instagram regularly - it was so fun to see the dogs in action! (Including a pic of my dog at Trail Tails!) The only downside: there are some days when my dog got a bit dirty. But a quick sweep/vacuum was totally worth it - my dog had a blast and was always tired/happy at the end of the day when I got home. HIGHLY recommend Trail Tails!

No worries here. Hudson Dog Company and Kim have been absolutely fail-safe for us: completely reliable, trustworthy and always available to help us even on the days they weren't scheduled to walk. They offer boarding, one-on-one training, exercise and play groups and even partner with another local business and veterinarian for specialized doggy training. One of the things which sealed the deal for us was knowing they're insured and bonded. This isn't someone who's just offering to walk your dog, it's a bonafide business that's branded and whose reputation has been tended by its owner over time, and that means a lot to us and our family. It's also saved us a great deal of money over the years by avoiding impersonal, sketchy kennels. They focus on servicing the growing downtown riverfront area, especially residents of all the new condos and apartments near downtown. I can't recommend them enough if and when you're in need of someone to look after or walk your pup, either for a couple of days, or for an ongoing schedule.

I have personally witnessed the bond between Danna, the dogs and the dog owners...it is warm and personal. I call her before I call my vet at times. She knows the dogs inside out and cares for them like they were her own. The staff is professional and extremely efficient. We all come to know them well. Maybe this was a case of 'mistaken business identity'... but it is hurtful to see such a wonderful place get ripped apart by people who are clearly not part of the Park your Bark family. I cannot recommend Danna and her team enough. I suggest you call and speak to them before you follow this stranger's advice. Or if you live in Riverdale or the surrounding area I am more than happy to give you first hand accounts and advice on putting your fur family member in Park your Bark Day Care or any day care. She takes her job very seriously and aims to make both the owners and dogs happy. She is reliable, responsible, patient, and gentle. She has a car and on hot days would drive my girls to the park so they didn't have to walk on the hot cement. This is just one example to show her consideration. She'll make sure they have plenty of water and don't overheat- which is huge for Frenchies. Her pricing is very fair and she will work with you to come to an arrangement that meets your needs.
