Yayy Anna's Tailoring!…read more If you are in need of a new tailor - look no further. Anna and her daughter Monica are absolutely wonderful. They were SO very helpful in helping me get my dress fitted in time for a wedding. They are very sweet ladies. I had a multi-layer, difficult to hem, chiffon gown. Anna's was able to do it in a week for me! They hemmed it perfectly. I am so happy I found this place when I was in a pinch, and am looking forward to giving them more business in the future. Fantastic experience!

Things were said that mischaracterized both parties. Monica's husband reach out to me and we were able to discuss this in a cordial and professional manner. Everything ended well, I just wish things were handled in this manner from the beginning. To whatever transpired, I do believe Monica is good at what she does and I do hope she satisfied more clients in the future.

Rip N Stitch gets full marks on all of the above. I called on a weekend to see if I could get the sleeves of a suit jacket shortened by the following weekend. On the phone they said "We're scheduled out to Wednesday--should be no problem!" So I took the jacket in that day. It took about 2 minutes to get the sleeve pinned up. I was told because of the buttons it would be a little more than the standard price for sleeves, but $45 sounded fair and I appreciated knowing the price up front! They also said I could pick it up any time on Wednesday, no need to call ahead. Within about 10 minutes I was on my way with the claim ticket in hand. On Wednesday I picked up the jacket on my lunch break. As promised, it was ready and the price was $45 + tax. Finally, the work was done well. I have a jacket that fits perfectly, and you can't even tell it was ever altered.

He made suggestions, had me come in to get measurements and produced the suit I was looking for. Looks great still today. And what I was looking for wasn't the standard businessman suit, so this says a lot about his experience and skills with needle, Thread, and Cloth. He was able to see what I wanted, designed it, fittings and made a great suit. I did a lot of Karate moves in my suits, pants, shirts and jackets and not one stretch ever broke. Never had to leave the stage to change suits. They were able to get other suits I purchased used and turn them around to fit and look great on me. So Trust me you can't go wrong with Bianco Custom Tailors. Tell him, Elvis Nelson sent you...

After taking the measurements and looking over my pants. I was told even if it the pants were taken in as far as possible, it still wouldn't look right. He suggested at that point it would be best to buy a new suit vs the cost of the alteration and me not being totally satisfied. There was no mention of trying to sell me a nice high end suit there. Honestly if I wore suits all the time I'd invest in one. Definitely give this place a try for your formal clothing needs. They know what they are doing and won't try and work you over.

I went to him today for the first time so he could help me take in the waistline of a skirt and he did an excellent job. He was very patient and knowledgeable, and he talked me through different methods that would or wouldn't work to get the job done so I could make the best decision on how to alter my new skirt. I was also impressed that he was confident enough to politely recommend other alteration businesses nearby I could try if I feared that his methods would be too complicated, time-consuming or costly. Best of all, he ultimately did the alteration in minutes while I waited in the store at a cost that was significantly less money than I was expecting to spend. Note, this was all of this for a skirt I thought would take weeks to reconstruct! I will gladly be going back to Tom the next time I'd like another alteration to be done.

My dress arrived in the mail just over two months before the wedding ... which led to a bit of a kerfuffle. The tailor that was originally recommended by my bridal shop does not accept new orders less than three months before a wedding date. I was panicking as I researched where else I could bring my gown ... and I found Alterations by Toni on Yelp. They got back to me right away - and got me in for my first fitting the following week! Everyone that I interacted with was friendly, professional, and extremely detail-oriented. I returned to the shop five times throughout the fitting process. Even though it was a lot of running around in the months leading up to my wedding - I appreciate the work these ladies put in to make sure my dress fit perfectly. I also brought in some extra lace, and had them fashion detached sleeves that I could wear during the ceremony. They went above and beyond to assist with this extra request - and I could not be more grateful. By the end of the alterations - it did end up costing me just over $500. That's a bit pricey, given all of the other wedding expenses that add up, but I do believe you can't put a price on how incredible you're going to feel in your wedding dress when it fits perfectly. Thank you, Alterations by Toni!

I love that the prices are laid out ahead of time by essentially having a "menu" showing prices for various common alterations. This seems like such a simple thing, but for whatever reason, most places don't do that. You only need an appointment if you're altering a bridal gown - otherwise you can stop in during regular business hours. My dress was ready for pickup exactly a week after I dropped it off, which was precisely the expectation they set when I dropped it off. I believe Frances truly cares about her clients. I tried on the dress upon pickup, and the top had been tucked and wasn't laying quite right. Frances listened compassionately and immediately undid the tuck to fix it so that I would be comfortable on the day of the wedding. She even re-did it while I waited so I wouldn't have to come back.
