This is the YOUNG LIVING LAVENDER FARM...truly a disappointment! Nothing more than dead Lavender busies in a desert
    Michelle T.

I've heard so many great things about the Young Loving Lavender Farm was HIGHLY disappointed. Prior to heading to the YLLF I called to see when the Lavendar Field was at peak season so I could bring my dog to snap a few pictures in the field. There It was NEVER mentioned during my conversation over the phone about a reservation needed along w/ a $75 fee. I was informed to not come down to the field until after June 25th. I came down to the farm on July 22nd & was informed by the young lady in the store that there's a $75 fee vet it was never mentioned that I needed a reservation. I did inform the young lady that I'm not a photographer and I just wanted to snap a few pics with my phone. She did recommend that I can take some pictures from the side of the road. Honestly I was just flabbergasted over the whole experience & just outright disappointed. When I walked across the street I saw nothing more then what appeared as half dead wild purple bushes. I can honestly say I do not recommend wasting your time as I did making approximate 70 mile adventure from SLC & especially your money for taking just a few pics in the lavender field This is NOT what I had expected or imagined whatsoever. The shop is nice if you're into the oils. I canNOT recommend this place at all to visit again unless you're into the oil hype.

My in law family and I went here to celebrate Christmas season this past Saturday. To be honest, I wasn't really in the Christmas mood yet since I was still digesting my Thanksgiving meals but the lights and horse drawn wagon ride really changed that. I was impressed with how many lights were on the actual wagon but I was hoping for more lights along the way on both sides but still worth it for the price. I like that it wasn't crowded at all so it was easy for my kids to go and do what they wanted without me worrying about losing them in a crowd. The kids got cute stockings that contained a blank letter to Santa, pencil, ornament egg with a cute Santa bouncy ball, candy cane, bracelet with a bell, an annoying reindeer whistle that I may have hid from my kids and thrown away, and a fun green sticker mustache. After the hayride we took the little train to go see Santa in the big white building. There wasn't too many people in there to see Santa but I could see it getting busy in there closer to Christmas. The Santa they had was young but he was super kind and listened to all the kids. The kids loved seeing the farm animals in the little barn. I liked that they offered a bunch of bon fire pits to warm up with. They also offered refreshments if you wish to purchase.

I am so disgusted with Young Living. I was a huge fan, a member and have friends who are deep into distributing it. Unfortunately though, not who they say they are and disguise themselves as having the highest standards for their product. I noticed one day when trying to place an order online that the product I was going to purchase contains palm oil (which by the way they don't list on the actual product bottles that I can see). Palm oil?? For those of you who don't know the environmental and species impact of palm oil, please take a moment to look it up. After seeing this, I wrote to customer service to understand...and they continued to give me canned answers about how they are focused on the Seed to Seal Promise...but in the same breath said they could also not guarantee that their palm oil vendors were sustainable. (BTW sustainable palm oil is also a sham, but that's beside the point). On YL's website they promise that their vendors going through a very careful vetting process and they test them extensively................but when one person (me) asks about their palm oil use, they say they are trying to get a hold of their vendors to try and confirm they are sustainable (shouldn't they already know this and that's why they are working with them??) but instead they got back to me and said they cannot confirm all of their vendors are good ones. On their website they say "we trust, but verify." If they verified all of their vendors before they worked with them (or put them through this extensive process they say they do), they would have had no issue answering my questions with confidence. The Seed to Seal mission is the promise of purity and high standards and they also promote themselves as being stewards of the environment. Their goal is to promote healthy people and a healthy planet. Unfortunately now I do not believe them. I will speak for myself and will venture to guess that I am definitely not alone. I supported YL because I believed that they lived their mission and BTW I was willing to pay more for what I thought were great products. Are they great in terms of getting the job done? Yes, but by having palm oil in their products completely undermines everything that the company says that they stand for. They do not carefully vet their vendors (as you can see in their response to me), they do not actually have the environments best interest at heart. Or the species/wildlife impacted in those sourcing areas. Palm oil is horrendous to our planet and there are so many other products we can use in place of it. I tried to contact Lauren Walker who is in charge of the sourcing process and she never got back to me. I tried to get to the bottom of it directly with customer service and they only had the same canned responses sent back to me. That they "are responsible stewards of the environment and taking great care to preserve and protect our natural resources." You know who would say something like that and actually mean it? Someone who would never use palm oil...and from the premiums they charge...we all know they can afford not to. I tried to demand excellence of a company I once really loved and believed in (who says they demand excellence for themselves) and ask that they consider changing their ways and live their values. In response, I got deflection, I got canned responses, I got no responses, I got no sign that they care at all to change it or that they think there is anything they can do to improve on. I went directly to the source and got nowhere, so now I am here. I would love for them to be what they say they are. But after alllll of the back and forth not sure they care to be. It's very unfortunate. This lavender farm is like smoke and mirrors away from the bigger picture...and this is just one thing. What else is there?

Fun roadside attraction. Free entrance and a lot for kids to see and do. Pet animals, barrel swing, unique merry go round. Beautiful grass and flowers and with the mountains in the background, every picture you take will be gorgeous! There's a gift shop where you can buy essential oils but warning the products are CRAZY EXPENSIVE! We took our 7 year old and she had so much fun she didn't want to leave.

Stopped here on a road trip from Salt Lake to St. George. I had read a few things about it and thought there would be a little more to do. The little western town was cute, smaller kids than mine would have had a lot of fun pretending. There is a very small playground, green fields and lavender everywhere. We got really excited about the paddle boats but couldn't get them out of the docks and couldn't find anyone working that might be able to able to help us. Overall, a good picnic stop, but don't make the trip just for the farm.

Come here at least once per year. Love visiting the farm store and touring the property. Enjoy the wagon rides and children's activities. Very friendly staff.

I've used Young Living Essential Oils for years and during a drive through Utah I saw their farms. Figured I'd search it on my phone and found the visitors center. I got some swag, oils, saw the property and realized I needed a lot more time to spend there. Can't wait to go back and explore it some more.

    The grounds are gorgeous.

I believe this is a family owned business and they own a large piece of property in Mapleton. According to their Facebook page, they have two raspberry harvests per year. We went in the late afternoon on a hot day. Parking is on the street on the west side of the property. You walk about 20 steps on a dirt path and there is a small cabinet with instructions and small cardboard fruit crates. It's about $1.50 for a pint of raspberries in the containers they provide. There are several rows of raspberry bushes to pick from and there were plenty of ripe raspberries, both high and low. Some of the bushes had their raspberries more hidden and we told the kids to use their "eagle eyes" to spot them. Perry's Berries boasts having Encore bushes, which are supposed to have very minimal thorns, which makes picking easy. I haven't ever picked raspberries before so I don't know how to compare, but these bushes only had tiny thorns and even when my 7 month old baby grabbed a small branch with thorns it didn't hurt him (don't worry, the raspberry bush wasn't hurt either)! We picked for about 45 minutes and ended up with 5 overflowing pints of ripe, sweet, velvety, deliciousness! Even the raspberries that didn't seem as ripe as others were all sweet! I think they were all eaten by the next morning! I would definitely recommend Perry's Berries for a pick it yourself experience.

I attempted to buy the Luxe Cool Season Collection online on the morning of November 1st--the day sales opened--but it was already sold out. Along with Luxe, the Summer Romance, Summer Fun, and Essentials Cool Season collections were also gone by then. Meanwhile, many single-variety packs remained available for weeks (even months) after the sale began. I completely understand demand being high, but it would be great if there were more availability for collections--or even additional collection options. Not everyone wants 72 of the same flower in their garden. I even emailed to ask if they'd be willing to put together a custom variety from what was still in stock, and was told no. I also attended the Cool Season Flower Sale in person this morning, arriving at 10:27 after parking blocks away. Unfortunately, the entire place was already wiped out. The line was massive, and everything was gone--despite the sale being advertised until 2 p.m. I was so disappointed, especially after putting in the effort to be there early. I love what Snuck Farms does, and I really appreciate the beauty and quality of their flowers. I just hope there might be some improvements to how collection sales and in-person events are managed in the future. It's disheartening to be excited and proactive, only to leave empty-handed both online and in person.

Those are big thrill rides there their height requirement is less than a small carnival ride. It's so weird to me. My baby was able to go on 3 rides.
