My family and I flew from the San Francisco Bay Area to Houston Hobby and needed a ride to Galveston to port for a cruise. I contacted 3 different car service companies and decided to go with Top Tier Chauffeur services, out of instinct and I'm so happy I did. The day of our arrival, Betty texted me and provided me with the name of our driver, Kae, and his phone # and told me he will be in baggage claim to meet us after our flight. Soon after, I received a text from Kae. When we landed we went straight to baggage claim, there was Kae right when we got down the escalators holding a digital sign with my name on it. He made it easy to find him. He walked with us (there were 4 of us) to pick up our bags from the carousel then loaded our bags into the suburban. The ride was nice and clean. Kae was welcoming and engaged in our conversations. We started talking about Buc-cees and lo and behold we did a quick pit stop there. Our first time at a Buc-cees so we were super grateful for that stop. The day we came back from the cruise, I received a text from Kae letting me know he was going to be the one picking us up as well. I texted him when we got off the ship and he was there within minutes with cold water for each of us. If you know how hot and humid Galveston, TX gets then you know cold water is a treat. DO NOT USE!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. We had rented a party bus from this company for my…read moreson's 16th birthday to take him and some friends downtown to dinner and a concert. The driver was supposed to pick us up from our home at 5 PM. The driver never showed up and the owner called me to tell me he had entered the time wrong for the reservation. He had accidentally entered it at 8 PM. I am not unreasonable and I understand mistakes happen. When the owner and I were speaking on the phone, he told me he would refund half of my money because of the MAJOR inconvenience - because instead of the bus picking us up at our home and my sons friends up at their homes, I had to drive to pick up all of his friends and then go meet the bus over an hour away. We did not get on the bus until 6:45 PM. The rest of the evening was OK with the exception that we missed our reservation and then the driver was not in the designated spot for pick up after the concert at the Toyota center. We had to walk around for nearly 15/20 minutes looking for him. As I stated, I would not have even gone through with the reservation had the owner not told me he was going to refund half of the trip for my inconvenience. Not to mention I had to take two hours out of my day the following day to go back to pick up my car that I had to leave in the parking lot where we met the bus. The night was a disaster. But to add insult to injury, the owner said he would send me $100 gift card to use their service in the future. No, thank you. I wanted him to be a man of his word and refund half of the trip like he told me he would do. So disappointed.
