It's a lingering sensitivity in one of my molars after a previous filling. The first time I had it looked at another dentist office they brushed it off! Then I went to another dentist and they suggested an expensive, invasive procedure. I was starting to think I'd never get it resolved until I went to Sequoia Valley Dental Group. Dr. Kim took the time to actually listen to me. He didn't rush through the appointment or dismiss my concerns like I'd experienced before. He did a thorough examination, took some additional X-rays, and explained exactly what was happening with my tooth and why I was feeling the sensitivity. Rather than jumping straight to something drastic, Dr. Kim suggested a less invasive option to address the issue--and it worked! For the first time in months, I can eat on that side without discomfort. What I appreciated most was the transparency and the genuine care the entire team showed. Dental visits can sometimes feel transactional, but here, it felt like they truly cared about my long-term health, well-being, and really treated me like family. The entire staff was warm, attentive, and professional. The office is very clean and calm, and they took great care in making me feel safe and comfortable throughout my visit. I highly recommend Dr. Kim and his team. Sequoia Valley Dental Group definitely sets the bar high.

Teeth felt great after (without the soreness from harsh scaling). You can definitely feel her experience as a hygienist. Office is clean and bright with modern equipment. (I hate outdated and dingy looking medical offices. The office is pretty booked far out (popular!) for routine checkups, but the appointments so far have all been on time and efficient which I appreciate.

This dentist located several cavities, ones that Herrera denied that I had. I was given antibiotics for infection and pain killers and told that I needed a root canal as well. Wouldn't you know the pain went away as the infection cleared. Oh, and I never got my referral from Dr. Herrera's office. In short, the dentist doesn't practice dentistry and the childish office staff is the most unprofessional I have ever experienced. Go to a real dentist.
