On my way out, I asked the receptionist to pay and she said I could when I picked up hard copies - which is weird, because the previous year I all but begged for hard copies. So I said ok, and left. I sent numerous e-mails and called to confirm that our return was filed - finally I got a "yes". Fast forward 4 months and I still have no refund. I call and e-mail several times again and finally get a "we were waiting on payment"...TO WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED AN INVOICE. I was told I would pay upon hardcopy pickup. So I paid right then, and had my refund about a week later - so we were waiting for 4 months for NOTHING. Getting a copy of my returns was another circus - I was fine with a PDF or a hardcopy, but wanted SOMETHING (don't most people want a copy of their tax return?). It again was a month long process of calls and e-mails that went unanswered and finally I received a PDF copy. Overall, the systems in place here SUCK. Nobody has any idea what's needed for the next step, and the communication is even worse. Additionally, their pricing isn't even a bargain. For a good service, I'm willing to pay, but not when I have to chase people for months to do their job. Go anywhere else, save yourself the time.

So when I came to Yelp, I was trying to find someone that I could trust and someone that wouldn't take advantage of tax ignorance or rip me off. I came across Naseer and gave him a call. Over the phone, he was able to break everything down to me and explained how taxes work in way that I could understand....I almost wish my the university could just hire him to teach us what the heck is going on in the real world. I was hoping I could give this firm a good review, but I can't. After two tax seasons, I've been…read morerepeatedly disappointed with their poor customer service. Many days go by before anyone returns my calls or emails and, in many cases, I've gotten no response at all. I was referred to this firm by my now-retired tax advisor with the promise that fees would remain unchanged, only they went way up the second year. When I asked about this, they said I must not have received their letter. As the final straw, I've have been trying for weeks to resolve two invoices for $650, which I already paid. I've called and sent emails repeatedly, only to be told they would get back to me. Not a well-managed firm. Moving on.
