When I pressed, he said he has NO INTENTION of calling me back to let me know he was too busy and that my insurance needs would have been lost in the wind. Extremely unprofessional. How unprofessional is it to lead a potential customer with pleasantries and promised follow up calls only to have zero intention to follow up and call back. I would have appreciated a call to say they can't handle new clients, but to just ignore? That's not acceptable - especially for MANDATED insurance needs. I just couldn't help but cheer at how much Dwight was able to help my husband and I save. Forget Geico, people. This is next level. So we're buying a home that happens to be in a hire fire zone. In the thick of fire season. You can imagine the pity and shoulder shruggery we were met with from most insurance people. "Oooo, ouch. Yeah, sorry about that...not much we can do in the way of help..." Enter, Dwight. From our first conversation he was engaging, well informed, knowledgeable about the area, and willing to go the extra mile. He gave me a bindable (meaning take-it-to-the-bank enactable) quote--not just a number that works on paper alone--and he even made a video walking me through the specific line items and details of my quote, which was extremely helpful as a reference. When we came back to him asking about options for reducing our premiums (plural, because 2 houses = 2 CA Fair plans + 2 wraparound policies--I know, I know--it is nails-on-chalkboard bad to think about for me, too), he took the time to talk through our options and offered some really helpful suggestions on where to make cuts that wouldn't hurt us in the event of a real disaster. He also answered phone calls and texts, got quotes back to me right away, and he ended up helping find us a plan that was over $1,000 cheaper than what we were anticipating. Call him.
