    Called in for an appointment for trust in January 2026. Received information over the phone and…read morepricing and then an emails with the fees discussed and a link to pay. Paid a fee for consultation and made an appointment in March. Was provided an email with the break down of fees. March Friday - Consultation went well, we were told an email will be sent with questionnaire form to complete and instructions to pay along with a link to upload documents. Tuesday - the next week- I called and asked I only received an email with a link to pay. No drop down, no amount, no questionnaire form. The person on the phone stated I need to choose from a drop down. I was shocked- because there was no drop down, just a blank space to type in the amount. They were not familiar with there one pay system. The person stated payment in full is required in order to get a link to upload documents and the questionnaire form. This was never mentioned in the consultation or in the email. In addition, first email I received has one set of pricing and the email I received after the consultation increase by $350.00 When I forwarded the original email and asked if they will be honoring the original quoted price. There response was "The Fiduciary Tax Return reservation fee for our early bird engagement bookings " So - NO they are not honoring No mention in the email about early bird or price only good for 30 days- nothing. This is what got me- In addition they stated this word for word copied from email. "I checked our availability with the team and was informed that we are currently full and not accepting any new fiduciary engagements until further notice. Unfortunately, this means that we cannot take on your engagement at this time but we can add you to our wait list upon your request. I have already initiated the refund for your New Client Consultation fee of $62.50 so you should see it post to your credit card within a few days." So I was dropped - on Friday they stated they have room. Very interesting. Needless to say, this left me in a challenging situation- trying to find an accountant on a short notice to file my taxes. I don't do reviews very often as I understand things happen and I grew up with a Family business , but 2 weeks later I am still struggling to find an accountant.

This year is different…read more Our tax was supposed to be delivered by 4/13, then they said 4/28, then 5/21, then they said it was under final review in May, nothing happened in June, then they said it was on their calendar for delivery by 7/19 which didn't happen. Now it's August and we still have not received our tax return.

I need someone that I knew would look for every possible way to get me a fair return but didn't want to pay more than TurboTax type prices. And honestly being able to talk to a real human being without a hiked price was a huge win. Since then he has provided great customer service and has been a major asset to the Weston & Tuttle family. Every time he has saved me money, got me a return, with little to no questions for me. I provide him with all documentation and he puts his head down and goes to work. THE VERDICT: Cannot be more pleased with the service rendered by Nate and highly recommend using him, not just if you live in the surrounding area but his knowledge of tax law and information expands throughout the entire United States. (and honestly maybe further but that is all the help I have ever needed). Go and get some chedda!

However year 3 was a nightmare, that has solidified we will never be back and will not recommend his services. I went to his office where he went over all the paperwork I had. On my way out, I asked the receptionist to pay and she said I could when I picked up hard copies - which is weird, because the previous year I all but begged for hard copies. So I said ok, and left. I sent numerous e-mails and called to confirm that our return was filed - finally I got a "yes". Fast forward 4 months and I still have no refund. I call and e-mail several times again and finally get a "we were waiting on payment"...TO WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED AN INVOICE. I was told I would pay upon hardcopy pickup. So I paid right then, and had my refund about a week later - so we were waiting for 4 months for NOTHING. Getting a copy of my returns was another circus - I was fine with a PDF or a hardcopy, but wanted SOMETHING (don't most people want a copy of their tax return?). It again was a month long process of calls and e-mails that went unanswered and finally I received a PDF copy. Overall, the systems in place here SUCK. Nobody has any idea what's needed for the next step, and the communication is even worse. Additionally, their pricing isn't even a bargain. For a good service, I'm willing to pay, but not when I have to chase people for months to do their job. Go anywhere else, save yourself the time.

I have no idea was has transpired in 2021 for David to make a near 180 degree turn for the worse from years past. Leading up to an October 15 filing David's reponse times to phone, text and email were lagging at best. I was satisfied with, at mininum, getting a response and figured that my simple return would be easy enough to file on time. In retrospect I should have been more insistent with David. Current status: David missed the October 15th deadline after claiming he had all my information and that he had indeed filed on time. My taxes were filed on October 21. There is now a late fee for filing post October 15 deadline. Further my return was rejected. I found this out because I called the IRS on November 19 to personally inquire about my filing. The IRS stated that my preparer, David Airola, would have received the rejection notice shortly after the October 21 filing. I heard nothing from David. I called David on November 19. I spoke live with David and I presented him with the fix that the IRS recommended. Unfortunately I had to jump into a work meeting. I told him I would call him back which I did. He did not answer. It was the Friday before the Thanksgiving holiday. No response from David at all during that week. I called him again and left a pointed voicemail on November 29. I sent him a detailed email as well. As of the writing of this updated review I have heard nothing from David. Again, I'm saddened as to whatever has transpired with David that his client service and follow-up have taken a turn for the worse. My return is not a complex one. I pay David's rate for filing a individual (non-corporate return). His fee is higher than most. I expect service commesurate with the fee that I paid (on time and in full). The information I have provided him with is straight forward. He has even stated to me that my return is, "easy enough to take care of". It's possible that because I am not some large corporate client that I am last on his list. That's only a guess.

    I called this business on Feb 10th, 2014 to find out some info about Mr. Turner becoming my CPA…read more The receptionist/admin who answered the phone started off pretty friendly, but she was hard to talk to. She didn't seem to understand my questions, and kept giving me the same non-answer repeatedly. All I wanted to know was "Is there a fee for an initial consultation, and if so, how much would it be?" Also, what does he charge to prepare a tax return if it was a straight forward W2 return? All she would say is "I can't answer that", with no explanation as to why or what was behind it. All she would say was that tax problems would cost $350 per hour. Fair enough. Those are his rates. But I asked, "what if I don't have tax problems? Is a standard return $350 then? Again, "I can't answer that." Well then, what will it cost me to find out the answer to how much it will cost me? "I'm sorry, I can't answer that either." She was a poor communicator, and after a couple of minutes, of me trying to set an appointment (with no idea what that appointment would cost) she simply said, "Why don't you try calling someone else." I was not rude, nor was I demanding. I spoke clearly, and asked simple questions of her. I could tell by our brief conversation that this was not a business I would want to have to call into for any real type of service need. She acted as if she could not be bothered by me, and that encounter turned me off so much that I just thanked her for her time, and told her "never mind." I took her advise and went elsewhere, and called another firm. I asked that new firm the exact same questions the exact same way, and received polite and clear answers. I can't be certain (although I really am) but it felt to me as if Pat Turner's business was only interested in me if they could soak me for $350 an hour on an open ended basis. Thanks but no thanks.

I briefly explained my issue to the receptionist and asked if Mr. Turner would be able to help. She sat on the phone without saying a word. I asked her what the next step is. She said that she still didn't know what I wanted. I said maybe now would be a good time to sell me on their services? Maybe book me for a consultation? Anything but silence would have been good. She obviously wasn't listening. Maybe too busy or just doesn't care. I sent Mr. Turner an email explaining my experience. He may be exactly what I'm looking for but I may never know. Couldn't get past the front gate!

    Zero stars if I could!…read more I have been a BofA customer for over 15 years and this was the worst experience I have ever had. I have been to several branches in the past and the visit to this location was disappointing. When we went inside the branch, there was no one to checkin or discuss what we needed to do. So we sat at the couches. Sukhbir is the only cashiers window at this branch. But she was chatting up and laughing with a person at the window who perhaps wasn't even a customer. There was another person waiting on the seats just as confused as we were. Then 2 more people came by. An employee came from inside and directly went to the people who came after us. When that person told them that myself and the other individual was there before them. She totally disregarded it as saying "someone will help them" I was like - do you even know what we are here for? & did you even ask us. Meanwhile Sukhbir was still chatting up with the person. Finally that person decided to leave. Meanwhile the person who was there before us got fed up and left too. So it was us who would be attended. But in a total power move Sukhbir and the other employee asked me to wait and attended to another customer saying they were here before me. The overall encounter was terrible and left a bad taste. I will be look at other BOfA branches around & if that doesn't work then sadly will need to change banks.
