If you hit the buy one get one half sales you can really save. As long as you could use two pairs of shoes. I get most of my kids' shoes here. I can typically find their size in most styles. I have good luck buying work shoes here. I wear black flat sole dress shoes. It can be hard to find comfortable ones but I can usually find something here. I used to shop at the location on University Ave by Kohls but this will probably be my main location since it's so close to work. It is smaller than the University Ave location but there is still ample selection and sizes of shoes. I've been here twice before posting my review and both times have gotten good service from associates.

While the advertised sale was a BOGO it didn't work for the shoes I purchased for my granddaughters for school. Eventhough they were almost the exact same pair of Adidas. She had a flat personality wasn't helpful in any way. Too bad it's becoming the norm for retail workers to not try any longer. The shoes were not a good value because I could have ordered from adidas.com and at least got reward points or potential found the same thing on SALE, A SALE that would have actually been REAL instead of a farce to lure you into the store. I did buy the shoes because the girls loved them and I didn't want to break their hearts. Next time I won't suggest to them that we shop famous footwear.

And I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of product and service that I received during my visit today. I hadn't even made it to the first I'll and I was greeted by an employee who asked me if I was finding everything okay. I didn't need his assistance so I said thank you I was doing just fine. I wear size 9 1/2 shoe in wide. I typically have trouble finding this size in shoes that I like. It's either popular so everybody else gets it or it's rare so they never have that. But today I found several styles of shoes that I really liked that all had my size. I needed some black dressier shoes with low heel for work and I found several styles that would've worked perfectly. They had a buy one pair get one half off sale going on so I continue to look around for another pair of shoes. I didn't find any that I just had to have for me or that I really needed. So I went over by the kids shoes and was greeted by another employee who asked if they could help me find anything. Again I didn't need her service but I really appreciated it. I ended up buying a pair of snowboots for my eight-year-old. I don't like to spend a lot of money on shoes and some other shoes I feel our little overpriced in comparison to other places I shop. But well worth it when you're able to get the second pair half off on today's sale and that they had such a wide selection and quantity of sizes made it totally worth it. When I went to check out another employee who I hadn't met with yet came to help me. She was super pleasant and super nice. She signed me up for their rewards card so that I could earned points on my purchase and then explained the whole card to me. For every dollar you spend you get one point. Once you get 200 points you get a coupon for $10 off that is good for three months. The coupon will be mailed to you or if you download their app you can get it in their app. I signed up because I Artie spent $75 today and I got 50 points just for signing up so in a couple more pairs of shoes I'll have a $10 off coupon. With three kids and a husband and myself we go through a lot of shoes. I will be back for sure.

Had a very good experience at kohls tonight. It was tax free weekend and I was dreading shopping…read morebecause I thought it would be mayhem. Kohls had planned and organized well. They had plenty of staff on hand. And for 8 pm at night the store displays looked nice and organized. I was offered help several times. I ended up getting all my kids school clothes. Two pairs of shoes for each kid, underwear, socks, jeans, sweatshirts, pajamas and even a disco light. I had two carts full. Was scared the girl at the register would groan with disgust at all my stuff but she was chipper and enjoyed the challenge. Another employee came over and even helped bag. Another employee went and did a sku check when a shirt was missing a tag. I spent $1100 and had a coupon and a 20% off coupon. So my total was $870. I got $170 in kohls cash to spend next time. The service was there tonight and the employees were in good spirit.

Farm supplies, pet products, clothing for all ages, tools, automotive center, household needs, candy and snacks, paint department etc. In October every year they have their toy shop for Christmas. It's a big deal. They open it on an advertised day and it's crazy in there. There toys are often unique items you won't find other places. I've went there for years for Christmas gifts. I also like their children's and babies clothing department. They carry Carter's brand and I buy lots of pajamas and baby gifts from here. I've bought several winter coats, snow pants and boots over the years for my kids. Their items are quality and good priced. They have a large women's clothing department. You never know what you will find. They no longer have a greenhouse in the spring. I think when menards opened they couldn't compete. In the winter I frequent for ice melt and their bulk bags of candy and nuts. Great prices for both. I used to bring my car to their automotive center for oil changes. But it always took way longer than the quoted time. I think if you are able to drop the vehicle off and pick it up later it would be okay. Overall it's a very solid store. I probably venture here once a month or so.

After some daunting health diagnoses (ovarian cancer, diabetes, obesity, COPD) I found myself in…read moreneed of reclaiming my health and physical fitness levels. Determined, I've set out on a daily walking routine only to be set back by some potentially dangerous foot issues (diabetic ulcerations due to poorly fitting shoes) ... Realizing I was not going to find what I needed in my immediate (rural) area, I set out to find specialty shoe stores. I was happy to learn of The Runner's Loft here on Yelp, and the reviews were extremely helpful. (***wishing more people would take the time to write reviews for this business...they deserve it***) As it had been a while since the last review was submitted, I phoned before hitting the road (this was going to be about 200 miles, round trip, for me) and was assisted by the owner, Scott. I expressed to him my needs and health concerns, and he assured me that he and his staff would be more than happy to assist, including being able to complete a walking assessment on a treadmill, which is filmed and reviewed by staff so they can look for potential issues with how you perform (walking/running) in your current footwear. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Stephanie who was attentive to my needs, empathetic to my health concerns, and set right to work getting me on the treadmill for my assessment. Once video footage of my treadmill walk was completed, Stephanie reviewed the footage with another staff member, Jack, and they also inspected the soles of the shoes I had been using for my daily walks, noticing that I do, indeed, rotate my feet in, which had worn down the inside of the heel of the sole. It was also determined that I needed more toe box space to alleviate the pressure on my toes that had contributed to the ulcer, necessitating my changing from a woman's shoe to a man's shoe, as they tend to have more space in the toe box. Stephanie and Jack had me perform a few more walking exercises for them; barefoot, and with some init selections of shoes. Observations we're made, and more shoes retrieved from the basement to try.... and, after several test runs, the perfect pair was decided upon! Not once did Stephanie or Jack balk at the prospect of getting yet another pair from the basement storehouse... not once did they become discouraged as I found fault with one shoe fit after another. Not once did I feel any judgement. They were both kind, empathetic to my needs, and professional. Also, I never felt pressured to buy this expensive shoe over that expensive shoe, etc. No pressure sales; I like that! I ended up with a well-fitting shoe, mid-price range, a store discount applied (without asking) and free shipping to my home address once my order arrives in store. ***that's my only negative...I loved the shoes SO much, I wanted to wear them out of the store! But, they were a special order to be placed just for me, so I get it All in all, a wonderful experience. I will be a repeat customer, and will be bringing my husband in for his walking analysis and a new pair of shoes soon! Keep up the great work, team!
