The chef behind Villa Mikuna opened a second restaurant in Galerie Lafayette. We ended up trying both restaurants 3/5 trips to Paris within the year.
Everything we had was delicious - the ceviche, the empanadas and the lomo saltado. Our eyes and bellies were really satisfied. Although we always stick to lomo saltado and ceviche, we were recommended to try the octopus, that will be for next time!
Service was impeccable and very quick. We even got a chance to meet the man himself - Jose. A kind, humble and hardworking man who made a name for himself. Impressive that he was born in Peru and now he has a restaurant in one of the most reputable gourmet counters in Paris.
I strongly recommend trying both restaurants. Menus are similar but each has its own charm. Will be back for more when visiting Paris.
