However if you have a preference for a male or female masseuse, make sure to double check in advance, as they may not have availability. I got a 60 minute deep tissue massage with a ten minute foot massage add on. The massage was intense at times, as the masseuse used a lot of pressure. I felt a bit sore afterwards, but hopefully it's a sign of tension relieved. The deep tissue massage included a hot stone treatment, which was nice, but the stones were initially a bit too hot. They also do a face and neck massage. The treatment areas are separated by curtains so you can hear the people next to you, but they play soothing music and it didn't feel noisy. Prices are very affordable and they accept credit cards for the balance and tip. They also take cards over the phone, if you're buying a treatment as a gift.

We received complimentary waters and hand sanitizers after the massage and it was just a great experience overall, will definitely be back!

My mom booked an hour's couple massage as a Valentine's Day gift for my boyfriend and I. We've both…read morebeen here in the past separately and absolutely loved it; this time, however, wasn't nearly as pleasurable or satisfying. While the ladies were very kind, the service felt extremely rushed, and my massage barely included my whole body, which is what was paid for. She focused on my back, neck and head. My arms, legs and feet were neglected, and ghost over. Some people have a heavy hand and I'm sure I've had quite a few knots, but my last massage (a few years ago) blew me away in comparison to today. Update: I woke up from a nap and I am in excruciating pain all over my upper back, neck and my head, and called only to be asked why I didn't make a complaint in the spa, when I was willing to let it pass. I want a full refund for the services done extremely poorly and will wait to hear back from the manager tomorrow, because I don't think a gift card is enough severance. Second update: It's laughable, honestly. First, they offer the money back, then say to dispute. No issue. They also act like they aren't the owner to avoid accountability. I will be disputing with the bank. I'd wished I'd seen the reviews sooner, especially the one regarding sexual assault.

The place was clean and when I arrived she informed me that I could get a lower price than Groupon by paying directly, so I did. They had a special $98 for 90 minute. The massage room was large and comfortable. There were even slippers there. The masseuse was polite. She didn't ask me any questions and got right to work. The massage was a combo of deep tissue, Swedish, hot stone, pressure points and a lot of stretching. She knew what I needed and dedicated a lot of time to the upper back neck and shoulders which was my greatest area of need. The massage was excellent. One of the best I've had from affordable small massage parlors that I've found from Groupon in a long time. I will definitely return. My only recommendation is the sheet to cover is longer so the feet can stay covered. It felt a little cold at times and to incorporate some aromatherapy.

What took me so long to get here?…read more I think what deterred me most were the multiple over enthusiastic reviews. If you check some of the 40+ reviews you'll get a sense of why I was hesitant. Honestly, I was just searching for a review I think I could trust. Not to say that the writers experiences were not accurate, but one never knows until they've experienced things for themselves. With that, despite my skepticism I forged ahead. When I walked in at first I was put off, as this is in no way a Dobbs Ferry high end spa, but desperation has its motivation. Arrived mid-morning without an appointment. This was risky as other patrons were already there, though luckily space was still available. My massage area, not a separate room, had enough privacy where I felt comfortable. During my session, realization kicked in noting that bells and whistles were not needed nor were they missed. My masseuse, Amy did the necessary and got to work getting those kinks out of my back. The full body massage that followed from head to toe, with a bit of stretching was an added bonus. To say I walked out happy with my massage experience, justifies a return back to this no frills spot. TIPS: Appointments encouraged 1 hour service = Free Hot Stone Clean Bathroom Spa music Quiet enough Low lighting

Which is exactly the woman I was stuck with today. I've never had to deal with her before, but she didn't do any massage. I've had another woman who uses her elbows to work out the muscle knots. How do you rub the back and Skip the lower back skip the hips skip the back of the legs skip the front of the legs. Terrible experience, waste of my time and money. I just got back from traveling and I was looking forward to getting a massage. This is right down the block figured I'd give them a try today and of course I get stuck with someone who does a terrible job. I'm incredibly disappointed and annoyed. Like if you're tired, and you don't want to massage somebody then go home don't have customers come in here wait for 30-40 mins and then you can't do a deep massage . Also they pressure you for tips. Be careful when you come here because even if you don't like the service and leave a little tip they want more. I've seen another post. They said the tip is voluntary. No they pressure you to pay it and they get upset when you don't pay it. This woman wanted $20 from me when it was not worth not a $20 tip. Tips are based on service and if the service was not met why should I leave a tip? Save your time take your money and go downtown to the West village. There's plenty of other massage places that charge less and do a better job. Now I have to go somewhere else spend more money to get another massage when I should've just had this one massage to meet my needs this week.

This is one of those massage spots where you know the focus is only the massage -a building with rooms filled with beds, soft music, and dimmed lighting - no spa packages, no products or flavored water, just a peaceful space with a focus on getting your body right. I'm usually talkative during my massages but for this one, I was completely quiet. Maggie was really very good and intuitive, firmer whenever she felt knots and softer everywhere else. I'll be returning next time I visit NY bc this spot reminded me of my fave spot in Houston and has inspired me to see if I can find a similar one in COS.
