I have written about this Latin grubbery a few times now and every time I do I find something new…read moreto talk about. Today I actually came twice! First, because I awoke deciding that I wanted some Sancocho. I'm giving them a 5- because I had the entire experience. It's a tropical root vegetable stew with beef. I was Making it with pork. I'm a rebel like that. Anyway, for a call from brother and his wife that they will be stopping by in two hours. TWO! So after shopping for tropical root veggies - Yucca, Malanga, Llame, Platano Verde, Malanga, Yautia, Patata, Platano Maduro, and calabasa. I picked up some Cilantro and some Culantro! CULANTRO! It's cilantro on steroids. It's specific. And O was looking for it in East Los Angeles and Orange County, CA - and did not find it for years if not decades. Anyway. They got it here!! Anything you need to cook anything Latino/Hispanic recipe - you'll find here. Anyway, I head home and it hits me. The smells I experienced while shopping were stuck in my head. Got home, picked up my mother and my brother and his wife, and headed back. We walked in to find some people start to enter the restaurant section. I will say with confidence they offer over 28 FULL PANS (Chafing dishes) and a few other things. I will not list them because I am going to guess that some items change. Everything was delicious. WAAAY too many to list! And the Tamarind Slushie...WTF!? Tasty!! My one criticism is that I wish the foods were HOTTER than they were. Most of the items - except for the Sancocho - were room temperature at best. (Turn up the heat folks!! Better safe than sorry.) Anyway, check this tropical grubbery and if you go on the weekends - enjoy the LIVE Music. I will definitely be back. The employees are friendly. There's plenty of parking. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! We'll be back soon too.

There's also plenty of seating, making it a convenient option for both smaller parties and larger groups. The atmosphere itself isn't anything particularly special. It has the typical look and feel of an average buffet. The food isn't especially memorable either, but I will say that the selection is better than some of the other buffet options in the area. The pricing is also about what I'd expect for a buffet: fairly average. Unfortunately, the biggest issue for me was that my family and I all felt sick after eating here. I can't say for certain that it was caused by the food, but it's something worth mentioning and something I personally would keep in mind when deciding whether to return. Overall, Royal House has a decent selection, plenty of seating, and an average price, but the food itself isn't anything exceptional.

This made my daughter so uncomfortable that she had to turn away to avoid her gaze. I didn't even stay at the restaurant after such a lack of respect, which left my daughter in tears and feeling insecure.

We've enjoyed Rios in the past, and because I have very little free time, it's been more than a year since our last visit. We looked forward to a quiet evening together. I found the Rios business card I had saved, called the telephone number printed on it, spoke directly with a woman at the restaurant, and made a reservation. At no point during that conversation did she mention that Rios had moved from Nazareth to Easton about a year earlier. She also did not ask whether we knew about the new location or confirm the current address. On the evening of our reservation, we drove to the address on the business card, only to find the restaurant permanently closed. Understandably confused, I called the same telephone number again. Someone answered and then told me Rios had moved to downtown Easton. We immediately drove to the new location. Unlike the former restaurant, which had its own parking lot, the Easton location required us to circle around, search for downtown street parking, and scour our vehicle and belongings for quarters since we didn't bring a credit card to pay for metered parking. After everything we had already been through, we still arrived only a few minutes late for our reservation. When I entered the restaurant, I explained what had happened and why I was upset. I will be honest: I was frustrated, and the conversation became heated. However, our complaint was simple and reasonable. When someone calls the restaurant to make a reservation, especially using the same telephone number the restaurant has used for years, the employee taking the reservation should confirm the current location. One sentence during that telephone call could have prevented the entire situation. We were not looking for anything free. We were not asking for special treatment. All we wanted was an acknowledgment that the situation could have been better handled and an apology. Instead, the hostess became defensive. When my wife entered and tried to explain that we simply wanted someone to understand why we were upset, we were told we were not welcome to eat at Rios and had to leave. After owning and operating businesses for many years, I understand that mistakes happen. What matters is how a business responds when a mistake inconveniences a customer. A simple apology would have ended the matter. Instead, a preventable communication failure turned into an embarrassing and disappointing end to what should have been a special anniversary dinner with my wife. Because we were never allowed to sit down and eat, I cannot comment on the food at the new location. This review focuses strictly on the reservation process, the lack of communication, and how our concerns were handled once we arrived. I hope the owners take this seriously and ensure employees confirm the current Easton address when accepting telephone reservations, particularly from returning customers who may still have the restaurant's former business card. I also hope the staff receives better guidance on how to listen, apologize, and de-escalate a customer's concern rather than becoming defensive and turning the customer away. We left shocked, embarrassed, and deeply disappointed. This is not how loyal returning customers, or any customers, should be treated. We will NEVER eat at Rios Brazilian Steakhouse in Easton, Pennsylvania again.

The weekday dinner had lobsters and the weekend lunch had crayfish. We enjoyed all the food and the waitstaff was very attentive, they made quick rounds to collect plates and refill sodas. There is a lot of variety in the selections and they're all pretty tasty. Their sushi was good, we really it. The only thing I did not like was the wasabi, it looked neon green, the color of slimer from ghostbusters... it was looking too artificial. Their dessert/fruit table also has a wide selection and we had no issues whatsoever. The ice cream machine was kind of slow, I saw a lot of people had difficulty with the chocolate side of the machine. This is a great option to have out in the Poconos. We will alway return.

Our waitress named Cassy 7 on our bill. If she waits on you make sure that she does not add on extras that you do not want. She will ask if you want corn and potatoes with your meal and if you say yes she adds on extra portions of each. Corn for $4.00 more and Potatoes for $3.50 more (They are already included with your meal). When she brought out our food we asked her why we had so many pieces of corn and potatoes with each meal and she said that is what we wanted and I explained to her we only wanted that comes with the meal and you brought us way to many. She said no problem and that she would take them off of our bill and I explained that we did not order and extra food and she said that its ok and that they would take them off of our bill when we paid. Well when the bill arrived nothing was taken off and We asked her about it and she said that she would have it corrected and then came back and asked me for payment and I asked for a copy of the bill before I paid and she had taken off only part of the extras and I told her that she needed to take the rest off of the bill and she stormed away and then 2 other ladies came to the table and told us that we had eaten the extras and that we had to pay for them. WE DID NOT EAT THEM!! I explained this to them and they said the waitress had counted the food that was left and we had to pay for the missing pieces and that was that. We were lied to and tricked into ordering add ons that we did not eat. I paid the bill and explained that we would never come back here again after this mess. It's not the money that matters. It was how we were treated. YOU JUST LOST A LONG TIME CUSTOMER OVER THIS! Just beware when you order so this doesn't happen to you!
