Accidentally found this place on the way home! Stopped in to grab a menu and see what they had to offer, and the whole family ended up coming to try it out. Man. I was not disappointed! We tried the spicy miso, the chicken wonton, edamame and a couple others. IT WAS GREAT! Very flavorful soup bases and fillings were perfectly cooked. We will definitely come back. Yes, I know all of the other great ramen places in the north Houston area and I think this one is as good, if not better. We started off with the combination fried rice plate. We knew we were into something here already because it was packed with flavor and didn't need any additional seasoning. Wife had the spicy chicken raman and I had the Tonkotsu ramen. I was getting my eye lashes done next door when I noticed this place. Dropped in and tried the yummy ramen. It definitely lives up to its name. The broth is not too salty like many other ramen places and it is rich and full of flavor. Also tried the asparagus tempura and I highly recommend it. A place all ramen heads must try. The spicy miso had the best broth I have rated in the US. Noodles were perfectly cooked. I tried my son's chicken wonton ramen and it was good as well. Yoko Ramen has figure it out and are not afraid to challenge the taste buds of those who claim to want the experience of a spicy flavorful bowl of Ramen!! I was greeted and given a table upon arrival. The atmosphere was laid back and intimate. They did have a big screen on the wall showing a golf tournament but that did not interfere with the ambiance of the restaurant. I ordered a mango tea with boba and spicy chicken ramen with wonton (I was so excited to see that they were NOT made with pork). Everything was well seasoned and flavorful. I loved that they had other options for the kiddos to eat other than ramen. My son decided on chicken nuggets and fries with an apple juice. I also had an order of spring rolls and edamame. Stopped in for a solo lunch on a weekday. Staff was friendly and prompt. I order d a milk tea no boba and the seafood ramen. Seafood ramen was fantastic, 5 shrimp, a bunch of scallops and tasted great. It was mor spicy than I expected, but very flavorful. Would order again. The milk tea wasn't my favorite. It almost had a chemical taste. Will not order again. Overall, I was very pleased with Yoko. I have already recommended it to friends and plan to return. read more

Got the Spicy Chicken Ramen and it was really good! Was comparable to Jinya's spicy chicken ramen, but its cheaper here! Also, we got some edamame on the house which was really nice. There's a good amount of types of ramen here. Noot many ramen spots offer a chicken broth, but they do at Yoko! read more

I've had a lot if ramen around Houston and this place can easily rank my 2nd favorite tonkotsu ramen! It was super tasty! Creamy and rich broth with a plentiful helping of noodles and a delicious seasoned egg! Not a lot of places do seasoned eggs and if they do its not always well done because it has not been marinated enough or its overcooked. This place did it perfectly--gold creamy center and the seasoning all the way through. Their service was very welcoming and they were super nice! They gave us a complimentary appetizer (edamame) which was really sweet. It may be slow at the moment (there wasn't anyone there but to be fair we had an early dinner), but I don't doubt that once people start trying their food that it will get popular. Take the time to try it out especially if you're a ramen lover. read more

I was not impressed. I Ordered Wonton Ramen to go. When I got home, the soup was separate from the noddles and toppings which I appreciated but the noodles were very heavy and dry, even after I added the soup. The noodles almost tasted like spaghetti noodles which I did not like. I ended up just eating the wonton, toppings, and desk the soup. I was a little disappointed. One of the best ramen noodle house I've been. Beth was really nice and checking on us if we needed anything. We started of with some pork buns soft buns and great filling! This is the second time I've had their food ('super yummy ramen') and it is absolutely delicious! The my first experience was due to a friend's recommendation...we ate in their restaurant. Fantastic! The second time I had food delivered. Again, fantastic flavors. Only issue (and reason for 4 stars, not 5) is that my dish is missing two ingredients...the fish cake (which is included) and the fried onions (which I paid $1 a la carte). Honestly i was expecting so much more from this place due to the great reviews. It's a small yet cute place and the food is alright but the chicken is dry. Horrible customer service, we had to get up to get their attention and one of the staff was wearing what looks like pijamas. When we had to pay the younger girl in pajamas made things very difficult and kept repeating things which confused us. I don't see myself coming back but i wouldn't say this place is terrible either, they just need help with their staff . read more

This will be one of my favorite ramen places to go. It's close near my home, clean, friendly staff who check on you often. I tried pork buns which were delicious, soft and spongy yet full of flavor. You get two from them, they're decent size plus it's to share with someone. On my first visit I had spicy chicken ramen which was flavorful, just not spicy enough for my taste, I still enjoyed it. It a great option for someone who can not handle spice. My second visit I had spicy Miso ramen which was the best ramen I had. Not only it's full of flavor but it actually has spice to my taste. Service was wonderful, delivered to the table fast enough were it felt as if we hardly waited for our food. I consider this place to deliver soul food if you enjoy ramen.
