Somehow Yogis market got merged into these reviews that were originally for DJ Market. I think due to them taking over the same address. My original review was for DJ Market and I'm glad they left and it became Yogis Market. The people who run Yogis market are much nicer, very welcoming and a nice addition to the community. The store is also much cleaner and has a better selection. Yogis market gets 5/5 and have since adjusted my rating for them since DJ Market is no more. :) read more

I don't know why everyone is hating. They are beyond nice to the kids when they come in even though the kids barely walk in with money. I've seen them just barrel in and they all just walk in in groups of 5 or more (against the owners 3 person maximum). They probably think people are stealing because of an incident and they aren't reimbursed from a corporation for losses. This family works really hard to try and run a tight ship. I really appreciate that they have a large selection, good prices, and they will chop it up with you if you really take the time to talk while at the register. read more

Recently DJ Market went through a change of management, now called Yogi's Market. I don't understand the hate, the store itself is pretty good, selling many things like candy, coffee, energy drinks, etc. They removed the 3-person max per each group rule. I have been visiting Dj Market for quite some time now and the snacks along with the prices are pretty appealing. They contain lots of snack and drink options for your satisfaction. But, the cashier, (a lady with black hair) seems to have a unsettling, unwelcoming, and unfriendly stare. While i'm deciding on what snack options i would like, i would casually be looking around and the first thing i see is the cashier staring directly into my soul. It is very unnecessary and unwelcoming. It makes me feel like she is watching my every move. I've also heard from people around me how she has hit young children, blamed them for "stealing" her, and calling the police on them. Which is very much unnecessary because they are youths. She is a very unwelcoming lady that does not have any respect. The back of the store is quite messy and does not look appealing when you come across it. Lastly, every visit i go there i've come to the conclusion she is probably the only one working there. Never in my recent visits i've seen another employee. read more

I live 2 minutes from this market. Every time I go in I pay so much more for anything I buy than it is anywhere else. The real reason I'll drive dove more minutes to the shell down the street is what happens when I enter the store. They stare at me and hawkishy monitor my every movement as if I'm going steal something EVERY time I go in there. I feel so awkward and persecuted for doing nothing wrong at all. These people are rude in there interactions and I would give them zero stars if I could. read more

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. Awful service. The cashier guy was so very rude when I asked why there was a debit fee and then I said "are you kidding me?" Went to get eggs today & was disgusted at what happened. Brought the eggs to the counter to pay. I already checked them for cracks, but the owner thought he should too. He opens the carton up, hacks the nastiest, wettest, mucus-like cough ALL OVER MY EGGS and then shuts the carton and continues to ring it up. I said, "Excuse me...? I'm not buying these." & walked out. Who the hell does that... Aside from being a rip off mini mart, the guy that owns this place is a jerk. It's dirty and I would not true their products, even if the expiration date is miraculously still good. read more

I like this place. It's within walking distance from my house, so I am there if I need something in a pinch. Prices are higher than at the grocery store, but that's kind of the norm with a convenience store. They let me bring my dog inside, which I kind of like and was unexpected. The man that works here is SO nice. The woman, not so much, and that's my only gripe, she's not very friendly at all. But she did bring in a flavor of coffee creamer for me when I requested it, so all in all, this place deserves better ratings than it has. read more

I walked into the store with a small group of friends and we were looking for some prank supplies. And he looks at us and says to many people leave. And was complaining how we were taking to long and that there was too many people and he couldn't watch us all at the same time. The store has more security cameras than a jail. He told us to get the f**k out after we refused to leave because we were paying customers. read more

1/23/17 7:44pm I work at chick 5 I just got off work and i decided to walk next door to DJ Market to buy some chips ( so i can eat my stresses away bc finals). I was looking around and got myself some ruffles but there werent any price stickers on them. I grabbed them, looked around for other things that might be cheaper but i guess to the manager lady, she probably thought i was wandering around. So she yells at me in front of around 7 adults: "You girl!" * i turn around* "You girl always come here, but you never buy anything! Get out of my store and never come back i never want to see you again!" I just stood there frozen because i had no idea what she was taking about. A couple weeks ago i bought some candy and a month ago i bought birthday supplies and whatnot. There was only one time i came and I realized that i didnt have cash and they dont take anything under $5 for credit card. But i was waiting for my mom and it was cold outside so i waited there for a couple minutes. I dont even know what to say. Im surprised at how mean she was because we exchanged hellos in Korean and i talked to her daughter and husband before. The adults were shocked at how she yelled at me and this stranger asked me what she was talking about. I said "i dont know i only came here one other time this month". Its almost February-.- A couple of the people in line were stunned and the man that was about to pay her for his food just said "no thanks" and left the store. Thanks mister. If you see this, owner of dj market, im sorry for your distress but i think you misunderstood the situation and please don't do this to other kids - some could be a lot more fragile than i am. Terrible service, rude, unprofessional, unhelpful, and I will never shop there again. The owner is rude to kids of all ages and just there to make a buck. Sometimes I pass by the market and I occasionally drop by but every time I go, I am highly unsatisfied with not only the products and prices, but the customer service. They are very condescending and short with me and at times act like their customers are a nuisance. I do not feel welcomed there-quite the opposite, in fact, and I don't think it's worth it to continue visiting. It seems like I am not the only one either. read more
