When I opened it it looked a little freezer burnt but I still tried it , hoping it was just the top . It wasn't. The entire half gallon appeared to have melted and been re frozen. We both agreed after a few small bites that I should go back and exchange it for a different flavor. It was less than 5 mins that I walked back in the store and the same clerk that was had so much to say about ice cream told me that he didn't know know what I meant when I described how it tasted because "he doesn't eat to much ice cream" . And that his boss told him that if someone brings something back that is opened that he couldn't take it back and said "it's really my boss saying no , not me". I didn't even want a refund, I just wanted to exchange it for something that was the quality I expected, and that makes me wonder, if I hadn't taken a bite and brought it back,was he just going to put it back in the freezer for the next customer to waste their money on and hope that they wouldn't notice till later on and not want to take the time to return it? I know it's just ice-cream, but I barely have money to spend on essential things that I need , so spending ten dollars on something that I just had to throw in the trash was really upsetting and I feel like he should have let me exchange it. I continuously see on not only the company website, but the third party websites as well, totally incorrect inventory information. As a person who is disabled and unable to drive, I pay extra to go to the location when it shows available in store, or pay to use third party services. To have incorrect inventory updates is not only an inconvenience, it actually creates a monetary loss for me while also being on a low fixed income. The employees all seem well aware of the issue, as well as the third party service providers. That leaves only one option. The people in charge simply dont feel it's important enough to address and furthermore, seem to have no problem creating scapegoast out if their employees and third party shoppers who work diligently to meet the high expectations of customers in picking not only the best for us, but also making sure to make the best decisions when having to substitute when allowed. They deserve better, and your customers deserve better. You are a very large corporation and I simply don't buy that this tech issue cannot be resolved when I shop at so many other places and do not see the same consistent pattern. All different kinds of different chickens here also so quite a nice variety of types. Only one who will refuse sales to me and he is most likely sexist. The reason for refusal is because when i first moved here, i didn't have my horizontal ID yet. I returned once i got my horizontal (i am 21 almost 22) and tried to purchase my drinks again and he refused even tho i had the correct id bc he said i have a vertical ID (which i showed him the new one and he still said he needed to see my boyfriends.) My boyfriends is in the mail, but his ID reads 2003. Which the cashier says he cant read them and they dont scan them. He wont sell to me when I'm alone even. All bc he hasn't checked my boyfriend's ID. EVEN THOUGH I AM PAYING AND PURCHASING FOR MYSELF AND MY BOYFRIEND ISNT WITH ME WHEN BUYING. The women have sold to me, with my boyfriend and without.
