I'm a bit torn with my feelings for Yogahome. On one hand, they have some really great teachers like Eryck whom I'd follow anywhere! I've also heard really good things about Isabel and Shira from my friend, who is quite the tough critic.
On the other hand, the atmosphere is FAR from ideal. Yogahome doubles as a nursery during the day. Therefore, the yoga studio is full of play things that constantly remind you that children are not far away. I personally dislike children as they give me extreme anxiety so it's hard to relax when I'm petrified that I might see one of them! The yoga studio also has a shed like atmosphere as the floor is vinyl (yuck!) and there is very little light. It isnt really an ideal layout as the room is very long so the teacher is not always easy to see and behind the teacher is a wall of rope?? I'd rather look at plants or candles or something nice when I'm doing yoga instead of rope!
On the other hand, Yogahome is also reasonably priced. Some of the other studios that Eryck teaches at charge like 85GBP/month, while Yogahome only charges 60GBP/month. 60GBP is probably one of the cheapest yoga deals in the area. read more
