Yoga is something that just makes you feel good inside and out and when you find the right studio that is increased 10 fold. Whether you are looking for a place to just pop in for a class once in a while or while traveling or a place to become part of your routine, this studio will fit your needs. There are classes for all levels and interests and an amazing variety of teaching styles all with wonderfully unique personalities. Because of this, there is a warm and inviting atmosphere that I believe is created due to that amazing group of teachers and also students. There are always amazing and exciting workshops that go further into yoga but also sometimes workshops more "parallel to" that bring in other interesting subjects that so many of us find fascinating. I am always excited to see what is next.

I can't say enough good things about Yoga Keowee and all it offers (classes, incredibly motivating and helpful instructors, easy parking, and a fun community of people.) All the teachers are skillful but my favorite is the owner, Kara Klemm. Kara's yoga classes are both a workout for the body AND mind. Kara is the best yoga teacher I have ever had. Each class has a different inspirational message. If you come once, you will never want to leave.

The power core 60 is a great workout, and the instructors are kind and encouraging. I'm not great at yoga, and the classes were very welcoming to beginners and you could take it at your own pace. I was definitely sweating in class, but it is also a calming and energizing way to end the day. I'd like to try more classes in the future, but I want to wait for COVID numbers to be better before doing an exercise class indoors.

Elohee balances nature and comfort perfectly. Every inch of the property has been thoughtfully and…read morelovingly designed. LODGING- Pristine units provide safety and comfort. Bedroom doors have locks. The beds- Imagine sleeping on a cloud with a cloud on top of you along with an additional luxurious blanket. Several different pillows (3 on a twin bed!) are provided for your preferred level of fluffiness. The shower has immediate hot water and good pressure. The unit is quiet at night and feels safe. GETTING AROUND: You can walk to all the facilities within 3-5 minutes, 7 minutes if you stroll. You can take the road with a slight incline, or climb about 10 rock stairs (WITH handrails!!). OUTSIDE: A huge firepit surrounded with plenty of comfortable chairs is right next to a peaceful pond with a small man-made waterfall. You can hear frogs croak evening and morning. There's a turkey loitering, and can point you in the right direction. You can enjoy the best stargazing ever on the wide lush carpet of grass. MEETING PLACES The gorgeous round mandala house allows a 360 degree view of the mountains. Below is a kitchen and eating area. You can eat inside, or at a picnic table outside. They even have those big heaters in case it's cold outside! The Tea room is open 24 hours a day with plenty of comfortable seats, and beautiful views outside. Food- I wouldn't be surprised if the chef planned the perfect amount of macro/micro nutrients for optimal health. There's less variety and volume than I'd prefer (but probably the perfect calorie count). I advise bringing additional snacks. There's so much more. Just go there. By the way, I have no affiliation with Elohee, just a lucky person who found this place.

For example, my husband and I were on vacation recently. We toured a remote island and part of the beach was totally covered in downed, fairly large trees. I suddenly realized the Hot Yoga have improved my ability to move like that! I am smitten!
