A retreat amidst the busy centre of Bethnal Green, Yoga Place seems to emit a calming, relaxing vibe as soon as you step through the door. Specialising in Ashtanga, a more dynamic form of yoga, they have regular morning 'self-practice' sessions for the more experienced, as well as evening beginners classes, Postnatal & Baby yoga, Hatha and Pilates.
There are two rooms, one slightly smaller than the other, so there are usually two classes at once. The teachers have all been very good and teach at a high standard, unlike some of the yoga classes I have been to before in London.
They hold regular workshops for beginners to Ashtanga Vinyasa, as well as meditation.
There is also a therapy room which offers various holistic treatments such as Acupuncture, massage, and reflexology.
