That being said, this shop does a nice Tofu selection with all the top brands, sweetened nuts, and a large beauty selection. There is no cafe or hot and cold bar. The staff asked me if I needed help twice which was good. I like this little store, mainly for location and lay out, as it is quite easy to maneuver around in terms of a small shop.

They also have a section with vitamins, cosmetics, toiletries, aromatherapy oils and other alternative health medicines. There are rooms attached where you can book yourself in for massages & cranial sacral healing amongst other holistic healing techniques. Staff are really helpful and friendly and know their products well. They always seem to have bargain/sales baskets where you can get good products at a discount prices. Recommend if you are into alternative healthy living.

Says something about the despondent atmosphere of the area, maybe I should ramble on about the recession, lack of jobs in the area yadda yadda. I attended one session with Rachel, who I found to be professional, lovely, compassionate and kind. The office is within a flat building, and her space is comfortable and stylish. I'm not sure anything short of a coma would've taken me away from severe "morning sickness" lasting 40 weeks of gestation -- but it was worth a try. I can't fault Rachel for trying! I felt Rachel truly cared about my health and wellbeing, and she even equipped me with some audio files to share with my husband, who has insomnia issues. In the end I just couldn't muster the energy to attend more appointments, but when I walk by the office on Central Street I remind myself I should give it another try for less pressing issues like stress, sleep issues, etc. I think consistent sessions with her could greatly improve mental capacity and relaxation. I do really believe in hypnotherapy, and Rachel has a VERY soothing presence and voice that can send you very deep into your own subworld. So, I'll go make that call now. :)

My friend had massage and reiki and was impressed with that too. All the therapists are very friendly and knowledgeable. Very glad to have this new business just around the corner from my home.
