If you have a home warranty do NOT use this company. We've had non-stop issues for the past 4…read moremonths since this company installed our new unit. We had another issue with the new unit this week, put in a new service request the owner came out for less than 10 minutes and left because it just so happened to be working for that 10 minute period of time he was there and then stopped working again. He chalked it up to "everything is fine" but knew we were having multiple issues for multiple days and multiple weeks. Had to put another service request in less than 48 hrs later, he accepted the service ticket, scheduled to come out 2 days later and then texted my husband to cancel coming out saying he has to prioritize other homes that have issues and 95° in their houses and he can't come back to our house for another 4 days. He assumed our home was cooling, which it isn't. Our small children are unable to sleep because of the varying extreme heat in the home. This is just the icing on the cake of the unprofessional and unethical behaviors this owner has shown. If you have a home warranty stay far away from him and his company. He looks for any opportunity to add in extra fees where he can that isn't covered. He also refuses to talk on the phone and communicates only via text. He deserves to have his contract with home warranties revoked. I'm sure once he sees this review he's going to lose his shit and demand I remove this review, but I bet it'll certainly make him prioritize our home equal those who don't have home warranties.

I've had nothing but trouble with the unit since it was installed May 2014. As of this writing the unit is again dead in the water. I've tried to call Davis numerous times to come fix the unit. No answer, no return call. I've talked to another Trane HVAC company and they understand Joe Davis closed up and Joe moved to Florida. Not sure of that info but got it two places. I'm now talking to Trane corporate asking for help. Awaiting Trane's reply. Update. Trane customer service is anything but! I've had several Trane units in my life but this will probably be my last. I have spent $1,600 on labor and freon on a unit barely two years old. Trane refuses to pay for any labor and states labor is the sole responsibility of the installing dealer. That said, you could buy a new unit today, the dealer go out of business the day after installation and you have to pay for labor immediately.

It was 90+degrees outside and we were in trouble with how hot our house was getting. Air value was recommended to us on the neighborhood facebook page so we gave them a call. Tom came out within the hour and let us know our 18 year old unit was low on Freon (the old r22 stuff which isn't available anymore), and the fan was going out. He was able to fix the fan and get it working again temporarily, this got us through the weekend. He then gave us a great price to replace the unit, and had it installed the next week. (I got several quotes and he was the best value so I decided to stick with him for the new u it). Craftsmanship was excellent and he was great to explain our options and help with all my questions.
