These concrete pieces only down in ground 4" below grade. Epcon's answer to everything is: this is how we do all our communities", or, "We've used these contractors for Years." It doesn't make it right just because you've used them for a long time. Take some pride in who you hire and how their jobs are performed. If I owned Epcon, I'd be totally embarrassed and ashamed at what you pull on all of the residents here. Also absolutely terrible lack of correspondence for EVERYTHING! There were some fixes needed during our stay. The management and maintenance team responded to our requests in a very timely manner. For example, There were two ceiling fans that makes weird squeaking noises in the house. After we reported the issue they immediately contacted the property owner and brought two brand new fans for installation. No hassle, no extra charge, no back and forth arguments. We are very glad that we chose this company instead of renting from a private landlord. I think they are very professional and have a high quality of customer service.

Maintenance requests do not get done until couple months later, and even if they come over to fix the said problem, I can't tell that it was properly fixed. We came to the consensus that there was quite a bit of miscommunication on both sides of the party. Bijan definitely cares about the tenants' well-being. Aram and Jaime were both grossly unprofessional and rude when I called to complain about our furnace not working (it's currently 30° outside and 36° inside our home) and to complain about them raising our rent RETROACTIVELY (for two months) and Aram told me they will proceed with eviction proceedings, claiming we were late on paying rent. We've lived here for over a year and have NEVER been late paying rent and the past few months have been no exception to this. I contacted the OWNER of the property and he assured me that we will NOT be evicted and he agreed that Aram and Jaime were very unprofessional. If you want threats of eviction for making a complaint, these might be the folks for you. If not, you might want to look elsewhere. We are absolutely going to be filing suit against this slumlord management company. Their ONE STAR rating on Yelp speaks for itself.
