So, so good! I came here on a whim after shopping at Dollar Tree. I got the chicken Alfredo crepe, Nutella strawberry and kiwi crepes, and a boba milk tea. I loved EVERYTHING! I was impressed by the size of the crepes. I only was able to eat half of each, but I'm excited to eat the leftovers tomorrow. I'll definitely be back!

The first time we came in to Yocrepe we went for a smoothie but walked out with a 빙수 (Bingsu) ! We were super excited to try it out as it was crazy hot and we were so happy we did because it was super delicious! We got the Mango Bingsu with fresh mochi. We enjoyed it so much we came back the very next day to try their crepes, and those were delicious as well ! The staff were very friendly both times and the cafe itself is very cozy and clean. I really liked their decor, very photogenic. Planning on coming back soon for their lunch special !

My nephew loves the rainbow cake and I tried the berry crepe. The young lady that greeted us was very nice and helpful. My nephew also ordered a boba tea with vanilla and the it was delicious. The boba was nice and soft. The place was nice, clean, and quiet. We will definitely be back. Berry crepe cake: 8/10 the crème was pretty strong as it is crème cheese based. I would prefer crème base. Still good though. Rainbow crepe cake: 10/10 nice and soft. Not too sweet! Perfect! Boba tea with vanilla: 10/10

My review is just based on their matcha milk tea. My company hosted an event and provided us with different milk teas from Yocrepe. Since I wasn't able to adjust the sugar level, I opted for the matcha milk tea thinking that it would be less sweet. At the standard sweetness level, the matcha milk tea was still a bit too sweet for me. The boba pearls also weren't the best in texture or flavor. Overall, the milk tea is just okay. If you're craving a sweet drink, it will hit the spot, but you can find better boba elsewhere.

I was in the area and gave it another try. Glad I did. Customer service was superb and the quality was great. My taste buds are pleased during, and after! This time I had a red bean boba and it was so delicious. I have to admit, It's competing with my Thai tea addiction!!! The restaurant is very clean and they have a restroom for customers.

Came for brunch with the wife. Here's my quick recap: Service: 4.5/5 Presentation: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Customer service: 4.7/5 Waffle: 4.2/5 (crispy but slightly undercooked) Steak& veggies: 4.3/5 (slight sweet taste) Sweet Crepe: 4.8/5 (heavy on the Nutella fyi) Matcha: 3.7/5 (very basic but simple) Thai tea: 4.6/5 (not too sweet. Well balanced) Price: 4/5 a little pricier than traditional but overall good. I like the place, very quiet & mello for a simple brunch to come eat and have time for yourself or with someone else The crepe was really good if you like sweets. My savory waffle was pretty good too. I do recommend added ice cream or some sweet to the waffle as it is plain(my personal preference). Thai milk tea was good, not too sweet and right on the dot.(we got it blended with boba) This is just based on my personal taste buds and doesn't dictate the entirety of the business. They have a larger menu and I recommend you go try it for yourself. Total review: 4.65/5

I wanted to try somewhere new that's close to the mall and found this place with great reviews…read more It's in a plaza and the inside look really nice and clean. Me and my family decided to try the Thai Tea Crème with boba, Artisan Milk Tea, and Peach Strawberry Fruit Tea. The Thai Tea Crème was delicious and creamy. The boba was soft and chewy. The Peach Strawberry Fruit Tea was refreshing and wasn't super sweet compared to other places I had try. It was perfect. The Artisan Milk Tea was yummy. I definitely would order all these drinks again and would like to try something new too. Even my family loved it! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Superficial observation: Without seeing a sign that says it's a boba place, when you look in it…read moredoesn't appear like it'd be a place that sells food or beverages. I'm not against minimalism, but IMHO the interior could use a few touches that draw you in from the sidewalk and indicate that there's boba tea and donuts. More seriously: I really dislike giving unflattering reviews for small businesses. In this case, I hope the business sees this and maybe makes improvements. But there were a few issues of cleanliness that had me nervous. And the coffee I ordered took almost 15 mins to come out and had a really unfortunately soapy aftertaste. Cleanliness: Minimalism can be look very chic, but if your chosen aesthetic is white and gold/chrome, you've got to keep it clean. This cafe needs a good deep clean. I was grossed out to see oil and dirt smudges on the backs and seats of the white leather chairs, like no one has wiped them down on a regular basis. The panel molding on the walls looks sleek and clean from far away, but once I sat down I could see a lot of dust. The counter where you pick up your order had a lot of dirt and remnants of spilled beverages at the base. The decor adjacent to the serving area was also really dusty. The chrome garbage bin could contribute to a modern, clean look but it looks grungy and sticky. It's the lack of attention to detail in cleanliness in the front of house that made me worry about what the prep areas might also look like. Beverages: I got an Americano and a mango fruit tea with lychee. The fruit tea was delicious and the lid and straw situation is actually unique and cute. That's where we're getting the two stars from. The Americano coffee on the other hand was really disappointing. For over five dollars, I was hoping for a good quality cup of joe. Despite it not being busy, it took nearly 15 mins before I was handed a coffee in a Christmas cup (it's April so maybe that should've been my sign that they've got Christmas cups bc no one likes the coffee?) that initially tasted ok, but then finished with a really soapy aftertaste. I had 3 different people taste it--everyone agreed it had a dish soap-like aftertaste that spoiled the coffee. Normally, I might ask for a do-over since it was pretty gross. But I didn't have another 10-15 mins to risk getting another soapy coffee. I seriously feel bad calling this place out. I wanted to like it! But at the very least I hope it inspires a deep clean and more care making sure they thoroughly rinse out coffee brewing equipment after washing it. Even if I'd only gotten the yummy mango fruit tea, the cleanliness issues still would've had me distressed. So two stars for now. Sorry!

It's not awful, but it tastes frugal. I arrived at Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) on Sunday (around 12:20PM). Parking is easy. The lot is very big. My immediate impression of the location's interior is "abandoned warehouse." There's cardboard boxes lying about; the lights are dim & gloomy; and the furniture & walls looked old and poorly maintained. There were no customers, other than myself. Staff zipped out from the back when I'd entered. There's no self-service kiosks, so customers order at the counter. Staff is friendly and welcoming. After receiving my drink, Staff vanished into the back for the entire time. The drink took one minute and six seconds. Fast!! As mentioned, the Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($5.50) with Boba (additional 79 cents) is not awful. It's big, cheap, and thirst-quenching. Although the boba lacked any perkiness, I did appreciate its very small sweetness. Concerning the ambiance, it felt sad. Chairs had mysterious black stains, dust & webs gripped the windows' corners, yellow & aged plants lazed about, and lights stayed dimly lit like a haunted house. However, there's utility. Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) has six electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; details on the plastic countertop. And there's a restroom for customers. In addition, the floors and tables are fairly clean. Overall, Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) feels like a forgotten relic of time. At the very minimum, it's an adequate establishment. If you're searching for affordability and a place to study/work, there's potential. 3.3 out of 5

The entrance is a little hard to spot as it's not like a typical store front, it's more of a hut, with straw walls that you need to identify to go in. The outdoors section is covered by an awning and the indoor tea-sipping area has deep set couch-like chairs. Several events are hosted here like poetry readings, and it's lovely to see the community that shows up here. The selection of tea is very fun to shop through--there are different sections like medicinal to mood-based teas (I've uploaded a few that I found quirky and delightful). You can buy a packet of the tea leaves, or find the flavor you want and then tell the counter who'll brew up a cup for you (hot or cold). My gripe here (and why I removed a star) is that they don't explain what the notes/composition of the tea are, and when I asked the server, he said he didn't know either (which felt odd given how expansive this tea shop is). I recommend parking anywhere in the Claremont village and then walking over, as it's a little hidden and few spaces in the lot adjacent to it.

This was one of the most organized events I've been to. To start, the manager arrived around 8:30am to hand out tickets and ensure that there were no line cutters - even though the store didn't open until 12pm. That's super early considering most events don't hand out tickets until 1 hour or less before the start time. Around 11am, the manager came around and gave us drinks if we won a game. Options were tic tac toe, guess the Sunright drink, or boba trivia. I played and got the white peach oolong milk tea in a can, which was really generous. Shortly after, staff came around to take our orders outside the store so that they could begin prepping and shorten the wait time once we went in to pay. I ordered the special anniversary Upland lemon creamsicle drink and got the fragrant oolong milk tea with sunny jelly as my free drink for being the first 150. I also got to spin the wheel for purchasing the lemon creamsicle and got a white mug. The store is big with ample seating to enjoy your drinks and hang out. Nothing would matter if the drinks aren't good, but Sunright delivers consistent quality, and the lemon creamsicle drink was icy and refreshing on a hot day. It really did taste like a creamsicle. The drinks are always generous and filled to the top (even when you say less ice!) When I ask for less sweet, it's just what hits the spot. If you like smoothies, highly recommend the strawberry frostie (they use real strawberries and it is amazing). I also like the mango frostie - it tastes like a dessert and it includes jelly that is jasmine tea flavored! My previous favorite was the panda milk tea as they have 2 different types of boba and is so creamy and delicious. I like to try their new drinks and then end up with new favorites at the time depending on my mood. My brother in law loves the oreo milk tea with boba. The coffee oolong is also essential if you are a fan of coffee. It's a perfect mix for coffee or tea lovers. 100% highly recommend for everyone to try their drinks - their boba is always the perfect texture even if I have it next day. Their mochi waffles are also very addicting but best eaten fresh and right away while they are warm!
