We came here for pranzo in Ravello on a private tour of the Amalfi Coast. It was an excellent suggestion from our driver. We were greeted warmly and given the choice of English or Italian menus. Once seated, we started with wine -- a bottle of their casa rosso (house red wine) Costa d'Almalfi Tramonte Rosso ... very good. The food was excellent. We enjoyed great seafood, including outstanding grilled octopus, the best stuffed squid (calamari), and spaghetti with clams. I was really pleased with the "Nduneri" -- ricotta cheese dumplings with stewed veal cheeks in chocolate sauce -- and the sautéed breast of duck. On the pricey side, but we'll worth the visit.
