I cancelled my membership at Castle Hill YMCA within days of joining because the staff here are…read moreflat-out rude and unprofessional. They spoke down to my children on multiple occasions, thinking the kids wouldn't tell me. I personally witnessed them being especially nasty toward Black children while sitting around gossiping and judging members like immature teenagers. To make it worse, some staff hid behind Spanish, assuming no one could understand their anti-Black comments. That is not just unprofessional, it's discriminatory and unacceptable. This is supposed to be a family-friendly, welcoming space--but instead, the staff create a hostile and toxic environment. If they keep treating people this way, they're going to end up with serious legal problems. I would never recommend this YMCA to anyone. And now, after I left a negative review, they've decided to try to paint my children as "troublemakers." This is nothing more than a weak attempt at damage control by staff who don't want to take responsibility for their own rude and discriminatory behavior. I also have never seen the pool being cleaned. Not another dime from me.

Last summer they changed vendors for the machine and since then they seem to break quite a lot, and the repairs take forever. For example, currently the leg machine has been out of order for three weeks. And the cable machine is broken every week. So during busy times I end up wasting 15 to 30 minutes waiting for equipment. In the summertime it can get very stuffy inside because they don't have adequate airflow or fans. I have made multiple suggestions in their suggestion box, but as of now seen no results. I am hoping they will be moved to action after reading this review. I give them one more month and after that, I'm switching to somewhere else.

My son started at TLE in July of 2019. He was 1.5 years then. By September, I was looking for other daycares and I was looking to move somewhere else where I can find better options. Why is that? Well, because the management, back then, had some communication problems. And there was a lot of turnover in the teachers and there was not much stability. The higher management though were so communicating and good at addressing my concerns. They hired a new manager. Also, almost most of the teachers who didn't meet the required level of expertise were changed. Now, I'm changing homes. One of my major requirements for the new home is to be close to TLE so my LO can go there until he goes to school. This is how much everything changed since few months ago. To be honest, since the first few weeks. I could see huge improvement and change in my LO behavior and skills. Because I was so lucky to have one the great teachers from the beginning. Ms Aly, who is one of the teachers who was there since the daycare opened, is very responsible, informative and attentive. she tries her best to make the kids and the family happy. My LO calls the daycare "Aly" because of how much he loves her. My son now moved up to a different class, and this was scary for me at the beginning but actually the teachers there are so great too. I hope TLE would continue on their high standards as I can see it now. Yes, sometimes small things still happen because nothing is flawless or perfect. But now you can see immediate actions and things keep getting better.

I get daily emails that keep my up to date on my children's daily and weekly activities. This daycare feels like a family and I have never once worried about my children while at Rodi. They went there during their elementary school years after school and then went there for the summer program. Their experiences were filled with fun activities, learning, and love. My daughter, now 19 still often recalls fond memories of her days at Early Einstein and will always be forever touched by her experiences there. The swimming pool is very large and has plenty of lifeguards however the locker room/bathroom situations is quite a big problem mainly in the showers since there is little to no hot water some of the time also there are broken movable shower heads in both family locker rooms and the floor itself looks festered with disease it left a bad taste in my mouth. Besides that issue the community center has good heating and air conditioning and very friendly staff and good wifi as well.
