I cannot say enough positive things about Lockman Security. Over the course of 6 months, I have had…read more3 different interactions with them...all good. The unusual part about them is the quality of this company involves everyone who works there. And I mean every single person I encountered and dealt with was wonderful. How rare is that?! I am going to start with my most recent experience which was by far, the most involved and complex. I am taking care of my Dad and he has 5 different caregivers. Recently the key to his double sided lock disappeared and I immediately knew nothing good was going to come from it. After contacting the police, I got in touch with Lockman Security whose owner my Dad introduced me to previously. I spoke with their dispatcher and made arrangements for changing the tumblers on the lock. After hearing my story, she suggested that when I had more funds available that I change the type of lock. I thanked her for her suggestion. A little later the same day, I called back and decided her suggestion was the way to go. Had I done what I wanted them to do, it would have been less effective and likely cost me more money in the long run, because I would have to do it again when they took the new key! Long story short, Lockman Security helped me secure my Dad's apartment and promptly end several issues I had with his caregiver situation. For example, I used to have to be there whenever a new caregiver was going to covering for his regular caregiver as he could not hear his doorbell . Now I can unlock the door for the covering caregiver remotely without needing to rush to get there before them. I still prefer to be there to meet them but it is wonderful to have the option of handling the situation differently in case I need to do so. He has caregivers that start at 9 AM and others who come 11 hours later. I used to need to be there for both time slots. It is not easy but it is necessary. The lock they installed, a smart lock has given me back control over my Dad's apartment and his safety, something in light of the Nancy Guthrie case, I do not take lightly. Since I sleep there during the weekends, I also now finally feel safe while there. Something I have not felt while there for a very long time. Security is more than just locks. It involves peace of mind and Lockman security knows how to deliver it and they do it damn well. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you Lockman Security!

The aforementioned statement is due in part to Marksman Security, for the outstanding way in which they patrol, guard its entrances and keep every security detail to a "t"! It hasn't always been this way--the security company the association had in place prior to Marksman was a total disaster! For a couple of years now and under the supervision of Ken, the young men, including Donel, and couple of young women who work in Sunset Lakes have run the security details there like a well oiled machine and a well equipped, tightly fit moving forward squad. Maybe what your gated community needs is to reach out to Marksman today--protected surroundings are essential in ensuring domestic tranquility!

I thought he would be apologetic about the phone call Saturday and try to rectify it but no! He was talking so fast I didn't know who he was because he was angry and yelling at me. I had to yell at him to tell him to slow down and say who he is. He told me to calm down and he'll tell me one more time that I better take down the bad review that I posted Saturday. Threatening me!! I figured out who he was when he said that and I said "oh you're the one from the phone call the other night"! So I told him "yes I wrote it because that phone call was rude". He then proceeded to say "oh you want to play"? So I said "yea I'll play and told him to F off" and hung up the phone. He called me again I didn't answer. What a stalker that threatens people over a bad review. Maybe learn some customer service, phone etiquette and bedside manners lol and you won't get a bad review. I blocked him and got a police report. Be careful who you try to come for D.E. You got the right one. This is Miami and I'm definitely from Miami. I'm not going to play with you.

Really nice guy who knew his stuff, but didn't know this system. It was literally his first time looking at it. He went at it with confidence and got the speakers set, despite the speaker stands missing. When it got time to program it to use he had to just work his way through it. It took more time to get the speakers to turn on right that the installation. They are top of the line speakers, and a great central system. But with the speaker stand situation and feeling hung out to dry on service, it hurt a little.
