I drive my son here from the opposite end of the valley twice a week because they are worth every mile and minute. I am in awe every time I watch them teach these kids- whether it be a class of 2 or 20- with ease and unwavering patience. They are not here to take your money to turn your kid into Hwoarang. They are here to improve the whole child (and the whole community) by teaching and modeling respect, self vs group awareness, initiative to support others, and inner strength. They have met my kid in all his moods and learning challenges without judgement. And I've noticed it's not just with my kid. They treat every single kid there in the same way- not robotically, but with an abundance of compassion and an understanding of how much they can push a personality to strengthen without discouraging. I'm not being dramatic when I say- this place, these masters, they're the secret to humanity.

Master Sunmi and Master Kim are absolutely wonderful - they strike the perfect balance of discipline, encouragement, and fun. From the very first class, they made my daughter feel welcome and confident. We've seen such growth not only in her Tae Kwon Do skills but also in her focus, respect, and self-confidence. The studio has a very positive and family-friendly atmosphere, and you can tell the masters truly care about each student's progress, both on and off the mat. We love how they teach important life values like perseverance and respect while still keeping the kids engaged and excited to come back each week. Classes have a healthy number of kids in them, mixed ages and belts-- although there are separate classes for basic belts vs advanced belts. I really like how Mr. Yoo teaches the class, involving the entire group. Lower belts learn from watching higher belts, and sometimes the kids at higher belts tutor lower belts on movements. He "gamifies" different sections of the class, which keeps things motivating and entertaining. But also, Mr. Yoo keeps high standards on expectations for the kids without being brutal about it. In my own child, I feel that he's growing an appreciation for earning his accomplishments and the hard work that goes behind it. I've also seen him push himself past his own comfort zone and achieve some really amazing feats. The room has a great community feel to it that is positive, even when things get a little competitive. Overall, I couldn't wish for a more perfect experience for our son (and believe me, we shopped around looking at several studios before landing on this one).
