    My son and his professor.

This review is for the BJJ. 1) kid always has fun. 2) Discipline listening skills improved. 3) Great friendly atmosphere. Recommend to anyone new and unfamiliar to at least try. I think there is a free introductory class to those who are interested. GL!

Look no further you have found the best place for your child to practice juijitsu. After trialing many places in the valley we have settled on this gem in northridge with professor Jason who I would also consider a master child educator. There is something about professor Jason that just commands respect. His tone, his diligence, his ability to run a class of children ranging from 4-6 years old with ease. This is the real deal. With many assistants to the professor he is equipped with a master team. I'm so proud of my boys that have joined Little Champ empire. Although there was a short adjustment period my boys have begun to learn and thrive enjoying each day that they attend. Professor Jason and the other instructors have the patience of saints. I seriously pray that they are blessed in so many ways because they are doing the work of angels for these kids. The schedule is very flexible. For little champs you have the opportunity to attend many days after school. After reading a very long post in my next door neighborhood watch I was affirmed that self defense (particularly jujitsu) is one of the best ways to ward off bullies. It takes discipline, focus, flexibility, skill and technique to keep coming to juijitsu class. You have to be brave and you have have a thirst for wanting to know more. You have to be the type of parent that values focus, discipline, and dedication to self defense and you have to want these things for your child. Feeling safe and confident are what the children of today need. I knew my boys needed to do something else besides T-ball and soccer. They needed to be part of another family. A family they can grow strong with. For any sports league the kids on your team change, the coaches change and you may never see many of the other players or coaches again. Gracie Barra is different. These kids will continue to the next level and many of them remain in classes as adults and then some of them come back to teach the classes. It's a lifestyle that can come full circle with endless possibilities. This is the type of family you want your child to grow up in... one that demands respect and is full of mentors of all types. I would always find my 2 boys wrestling together and they needed more boundaries and I felt they lacked self discipline so I was looking for the right type of class to fill this need. They are molding into the ninja of their dreams and at the same time they are learning to protect themselves. I know that everything they learn will make them more flexible, more patient, more focused and more safe. I want my boys to develop into the best version of themselves and I am confident that Gracie Barra can do that for them.

Great place to train I am coming here for last 2 years together with my kids .Its great for kids and for adults they have flexible classes and it's easy to attend

World class, excellent instruction, provided by very knowledgeable, friendly, and humble instructors. The training environment, from the instructors to the students, and the facility itself, is absolutely first class. Everyone is super nice, friendly, ready to learn, and highly competitive all at the same time. Our 9-year-old daughter has been attending class for about a year, and I am thoroughly impressed with her physical developments, mental focus, and interest in improvement. We are thankful to be a part of this team and family. If you are interested in learning patience, discipline, and techniques for your child, give Gracie Barra Northridge a shot. Any BJJ practitioner (adults and children) visiting or moving to the area seriously consider stopping in and checking out Gracie Barra Northridge. You will not be disappointed.

I been going to this GB for about 6 months now, nothing but great things to say! Its a no ego zone, great learning environment. The instuctors here are definitely top notch. If your wondering if this is the gym for you they offer a free trial class. Do it Checkout the 6 am class with professor larry, if your looking to get some great Bjj training and an extra large side of cardio !!! Oh yeah

My kids started going to this gym recently after a friend of mine mentioned she takes her daughter here as well. I think the instruction is great. The coaches are attentive and helpful. They make sure to teach them the moves first and then have them practice. It really has changed how my kids are in a positive way.

If I could use one word to describe this place it would be, family. I signed up my son here less than a month ago and as soon as my daughter saw how much fun he was having she wanted to join too. Professor Jaeson, Professor Fabio and all the assistant couches are amazing with children, very firm yet loving and leave a lot of room for fun and games. Both my kids love coming here. We've been a part of several after school programs, this place is by far our favorite.

My son loves it! All the couches are very great. Jason of course is amazing. He is great with the kids. I have taken my son to other gracie barra locations and they are more play base. Which is not want we were looking for. Jason teaches them technique and discipline. Great overall!!!

A year later, karate has helped our son, who is now a tiger orange belt, developed all those things and more. By engaging in daily half hour classes, he learned to direct attention and manage distractions more effectively. This heightened focus has translated into better academic performance and more meaningful social interactions. His master instructors teach more than martial arts- they have given him a head start in life. My solo training efforts had nudged me up to 120 pounds, but there I plateaued--stuck in a weight limbo. It was as if my body had whispered, "Enough, my friend. You need more than self-motivation; you need a team." Enter the WWF Team: My Weight-Warriors And so, I found Wing Warriors Fitness. Their approach was holistic, like a symphony of nutrition, exercise, and unwavering support. Here's how they orchestrated my transformation: The WWF team didn't just throw a salad with chicken breast at me and call it a day. No, they dissected proteins like scientists--timing, types, and daily portions--all in pursuit of my weight gain crescendo. Picture this: a type of protein when me & my muscles awake in the morning, followed by another type of protein before work out, yet another type of protein/amino acid during work out session, 1 more type of protein within 30 mins of workout, and wrap up the cycle with yet another type of protein before sleep. Team this up with a ratio between protein powder & food intake, I finally recognize all those muscle soreness didn't go nowhere. Exercise Symphony: But wait, there's more! The WWF team composed a symphony of exercises--exercises that could strike multiple part of the same muscle group. They orchestrated a harmonious crescendo of strength gains. The Grand Finale: 133 Pounds And then, like a climactic finale, it happened. The scale blinked, and there it was: 133 pounds! I stood taller, not just because of the extra weight, but because I had a team--a weight-wielding orchestra--by my side. Conclusion: Gratitude and Muscles So, here's to the WWF team: my trainers, my confidantes, and my weight-whisperers. Thank you for turning my struggle into a symphony, my weakness into weight, and my journey into a standing ovation.
