My son has been going there for a little over a year and it's the best thing ever. He's only 8 and has always been the youngest kid in his group but the biggest in size and would get picked on because kids just thought he was bigger than what he really is. Don't mind the fake reviews. Rob Gooch WILL steal your money. I paid him around $800 up front for private lessons that he has never provided and refuses to refund. Many other people have had the same issue. DO NOT give this guy your credit card info and DO NOT pay him cash up front. I advise anyone to just find a gym that isn't in so much financial trouble that they need to steal. I will post the communication from Gooch where I am told I will never get my money or private's and that I am a punk if I take him to court. Update 2022: I have never received a refund from Rob Gooch. I was hoping for some integrity but that was naive of me. The guy stole hundreds of dollars from me without flinching, all so he didn't have to complete some private lessons. 99% of the BJJ community are stand-up people so there is no reason you should ever choose this gym. read more

In a big area like the valley it's very hard to find somewhere that will feel like home, and that has a personable coaching staff, but wether it be practices, tournaments, or fights the staff aswell as your practice partners will always make you feel like you're not alone, they got your back here ! I can't say it will be an easy night training or that you won't be sore the next day but we train hard and with a purpose at GTA and I can say you WILL feel accomplished, invigorated, and loved when you get off the mats.
